What about the smaller teams which you will all have seen when watching the glory boys.
What about the Championship and lower league clubs? Can you actually name any?

Well nicki, unfortunately most of our friends in the colonies ain't got a bloody clue about the beautiful game. North Americans change teams like I change my pants (and that ain't every Christmas) they like to be on the winning side. Look at sir norm, Reading and Wigan, how in the hell can you support two teams? So to answer your question, muppets most of em when it comes to football, and me, I'M WEST HAM TIL I DIE.

I am a soccer fan happen to live in US and unfortunately we do
not get to see as much soccer as other parts of the world is
privileged to do. Hence 99% or more Americans cannot
even name your big 4 and that tells you how much support
you may be get in US.
What ever support or fan base you have in US is mostly from
people who migrated from other countries where soccer is
popular. Even bringing Beckham does not do any good.

Yes, I know some of the lesser known clubs and I do watch
them play. Yes I can name many if not all. Here is the list
that I can think off.
West Ham, Everton, Blackburn, Manchester City,
Newcastle, Wigan, Aston Villa, Birmingham, Middlesbrough,
Portsmouth, Fulham, Tottenham, Sunderland, Reading
and Bolton.
I think I may be missing one or two teams.

I favored Bolton because Big Sam was their manager. Now that he's gone I've not no choice but to go back to Man U. I guess I can see how Newcastle are going to do and if they turn into a Big Sam team.

The problems with the Americans are most of them don't even know who's in the big 4, on top of that even if they knew who were in it they probably can't even name any other team beside them. Americans should stick with American Football.

Nobody in the US besides a few soccer geeks likes anything about that game...they can't fill a single stadium here for a game of soccer, and I couldn't have named the "big 4" if you held a gun to my head...GO REAL FOOTBALL, GO STEELERS!!
