Hi, I am starting a football club in my town and all is set except our club nickname. My town have a rich history of being a place for executions so the plan was to nickname our club "Executioners". But because many people were executed here, some shareholders want the club to be called "Phantoms". So should it be "Executioners" or "Phantoms"? Give us your opinion. Our colours will be all black for home, all red for away.

Like the hat first, ehem!...well when you say 'executioners' is is the whole story you might want to elaborate what about nicknaming you selves in the style of the executions.
For instance im a professional serial killer and my speciality is strangulation The cops call it the MO or modus operandi.
but they're just being clever. and Ive been nickname, 'the soiled underpants ripper' as I leave a set of well..er stained underwear at the scene, I like to shake off that monicker as I dont really like it, even if it meanns giving up my spree.
they are always making fun of me I want a proper name like the 'Zodiac' now thats really cool . but you have to choose a name that they are all happy with.

I agree with Ashley Kim. The name is nice and practically simple. You wouldn't want a name that will cause a headache for everyone to remember.
