no matter who you are, Italian fan or not, you have to admit that Materazzi's provocation of Zidane in the 2006 world cup final game was unsportmanlike.

We know how close and exciting the Europe and African continental cups can be, but spare a thought for the continents where Argentina & Brazil; Australia; USA & Mexico go through a tournament of mismatches and always win easily every time, yawn, with very little unpredictable about the whole thing.

Do you think these continental Championships would be better off if each member state or province of the dominant (named) countries were to submit its own team into the qualifying process for the continental finals (I would suggest that like in the UK each person would only be eligible to represent the province or state he has slept the most nights in)?
Imagine how suddenly there might be 12, rather than just 2 country-level teams with a good chance of winning the competition.
Do you support this idea, and if so, how would you adopt this idea into other sports, other contexts, and into football in Europe & England ?

&if not, would you support altering the boundaries between contine

it is in football we see all the diversities in humanity play on level ground with one aim.different cultures, creeds, even sexes are put behind, even if for 90 minutes just for the love of the game.think west germany vs east germany in world cup 74.or iran vs usa in france 98.even the world's most wanted man is a self confessed fanatic of the game.....

Do people understand what the word "support" means. Because it doesn't mean - slag off the team and manager, undermine morale, winge, whine and generally behave in a detrimental way to our performances.
Could it be that the present detractors are the same racist people who demanded an English manager? You reap what you so.
NOW BACK YOUR NATIONAL SIDE, and stop being TRAITORS! Especially those ingrates in the scum-press.
Or can't you live in the real world?

In my spam folder I've just an email about a ski holiday for two in Andorra. No joke - honest truth!

Is this a sign that England will win 4-2 or lose 4-2 or what?

On here everyone gives it all their mouth (nothing wrong with that) - don't ya think it would be good if there was a website where you could challenge people with your own money?

i.e Liveprool v Arsenal on Saturday. On Friday at the pub I'll be having bets with Arsenal fans that Liverpool will win. Imagine if ya could do that on here with the people who are saying their team will beat your team.

It could easily be done if everyone had a paypal account and yes I am very bored at work.

It's so infurating. The game is nearly as old as their whole nation and yet they've decided to badge it "soccer". AFL/gridiron is played with the hands (mostly) and so it's really dumb to call it football. It's pretty small minded of them really.
