bad. takes out the "beautiful" element of the game when it was originally created.
refs will tend to rely more on tech and guess what, there will be a lot of unnecessary pauses in the game, therefore will eventually stretch a match beyond 90mins.
referee decisions can go either way, leave it at that. and have more faith with the men in black that they can do a better job on the pitch.

I can certainly see why people would like it introduced. It is very annoying and frustrating when you know that the ball has crossed the line and the ref and the linesmen don't give it.
If it were to be used, it should only be used for goal line incidents and nothing more. I don't believe that it would slow the game down as the ball is only in play for about 25 mins out of 45. (Sky Sports tell you this at half time) Rugby uses video replays and that still runs at a good speed.
However, the beauty of football is that it is universal. What happens in the world cup final happens the next day in play ground or in the Park. I think that video technology, if relied on too heavily, would simply ruin the game.

I think video technology is a good tool which can be used in any kind of sports to make better decision, now and in the future, and for evaluation.
For football, the case is a bit different, because it is important to keep the play flowing and not interrupted by too many referee intervention. If video is to be used in football, it is important for referee to get realtime feedback. There is no point using technology if it cannot improve anything. The second thing is that, it is not necessary to let the spectators and supporters know what happen in the field before the ref knows. If they know what is going on before ref knows, ref will not be able to make informed decision meanwhile all spectators know everything. Then at the end of the day, the ref will be ridiculed by everybody, thus he cannot get proper respect.

very bad idea!!!! you need all the controversy that is what makes the game what it is and so likeable!!!! its what makes the banter what it is!!!! without it teams would just win or lose! and no one would be able to say e.g. you were lucky/that shouldnt have been a penalty/that goal shouldnt of stood! all of that would be lost from the game we love!!!!
