I don't believe there is anything that can rival the uniting factor of football in the world today. That is why we call it the world game.
A friend of mine has just gone to Nepal from Australia with a scarve and shirt of our beloved Adelaide United and a soccer ball. The local children and adults are seen in photos's having a game, what a great way to spread peace and fun.
Great question, great game, peace to everyone may you join us in a game of football.

Man's ear bitten off in Greek soccer brawl
March 27, 2007
ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Four men have been arrested on the island of Crete after part of a man's ear was bitten off during a brawl after Greece's 4-1 loss to Turkey in a European Championship qualifier.
The incident occurred Saturday near the town of Ierapetra during a fight between Bulgarian workers and local Greek men who had been watching the match on television, police said Tuesday.
Local businessman Dimitris Tsimbibakis was hospitalized after a man bit his ear. He told authorities he had intervened to try and break up the fight but was beaten by four Bulgarian men.
The fight apparently started after the Bulgarian men cheered Turkey's goals.
Greece travels to Malta on Thursday, while Turkey hosts Norway in Group C.

i can't think about one, i totally agree with you, that is why we must not allowed racism and violence to take the one think we have to gother understand togetherr and love togethe, no Mather how white you i or black even brown, perhaps gold. it's the one think that united us even if it's for 90 mins, we still share it on and off the Field, in the dress room to the stand, black white brown gold, we have this think in common, it's the one think we don't judge each other because of how you look or how i look or how they looked, but it's unfair to say this game is perfect.
