If you were to give this award out based on the premise that a player doesn't dive... I'm afraid that NO ONE would be entitled to it..... It's sad that people continue to pounce on such a marvelous player, just because they are jealous... I say it's time for you people to grow up.. this childish, and moronic behavior is absolutely ridiculous...
Of course C. Ronaldo deserves to win this award,, just like he deserved to win the young players award at the world cup...(he was robbed at the world cup, lets hope that that does not happen again.)

Yes no doubt, just for diving now and again a player is good or not good? no C. ronoldo's to quick and premier defenders eat his fients. His body type and speed sells it good to refs nodoubt about it. Its been part of the game always has. Stop it, he who has never sinned cast the first stone(We all do it). Play maker and a goal scorer. can play any Mid/For position, and he has great vision in passing

C Ronaldo will be named Player of the Year. If not him, Drogba? Damn, he dives worst than Ronaldo.
These are the two leading contenders and my money is with the Portuguese genius.

people say drogba, messi, ronaldhino, robben etc should all be player of the award yet they are messy/diving players too =\
so i dont think its fair on ronaldo, he isnt that bad a diver, especially not this season, hes matured.
its not about who is the most cleanest player, ronaldo is the best player atm cept for his little dip of form recently but he'll back to his best :)

Yes i think he does, he has gotten a lot better than last year. Even though he dives very little, others are worse.

Cheaters don't deserve the award. Instead award it to someone like Drogba, Carragher, Vidic, Berbatov.
