Bye, bye, Portugal ! Yes, I'm bitter that a team of mediocre actors (with great soccer skills !) needed to be so unsportsmanlike in this World Cup and often got away with it. Both the Dutch and the English were cheated out of this WC by Portugal.

And I'm not just saying that because when he took off his jersey after his second goal, it was the hottest thing ever. He was on fire! Without the regular starters to overshadow him, he really shone. I am looking for more great things from him in the future! He's only 21, too (turning 22 in August). I love Podolski, but I've always held a torch for his best friend Schweini as well (yes! they are best friends.. isn't that cute :)).

he fell a couple of times, but they were real falls....

I AM A PORTUGAL FAN ALL THE WAAAY!! and that will never change! but this game against germany is one that u can truly call a REAL GAME! u can see the camaraderie between the two teams! I LOVE IT! luis figo and oliver kahn the two team captains shared laughs and hugged each other at the end! this is amazing! its not like one of those games where the teams consider it as something to fight about, u know wat i mean?

its so amazing to see two teams congratulate each other after the game. it makes me feel so happy! even if my team lost. not that this actually matters to ppl, but i just want to share my thoughts with u guys. its wonderful! im so proud of portugal! and germany as well! THIS IS WONDERFUL!!!!

i am dissapointed. I am all for Portugal but Germany played beautifully. It was a really good game and Germany deserved it...way to go!

If Germany wins it would not bother me in any way. Afterall, they are the host country. If Germany were to win, it would obviously mean that Portugal would lose, and myself being a Portuguese-Canadian, I would be disappointed but happy for Germans. As the host country Germany deserves 3rd place.
