Look. In all fairness, Petit scoring against his own team Portugal is no dumber than when the Italian player scored against his own team Italy when they played against the States.
If either Petit or the Italian player were to play around you, they would make you look like you were the dumbest thing walking on earth.
Why are you criticizing a professional ballplayer as if you were on high demand. You probably do not even play soccer in your own backyard. Give me a break.

It wasn't stupid, it was just incredibly unlucky. It's not like Petit wanted to score in his own goal. He was trying to keep it out, but made an unfortunate mistake. These things can happen to anybody. At least he made an effort to try and block it.

Obviously you dont know anything about the game if you think that was a bad play. An unfortunate play, yes. But it wasnt a bad decision, he doesnt know who is behind him, as a defender you are not supposed to let the ball by you in a situation like that.
