If Germany wins it would not bother me in any way. Afterall, they are the host country. If Germany were to win, it would obviously mean that Portugal would lose, and myself being a Portuguese-Canadian, I would be disappointed but happy for Germans. As the host country Germany deserves 3rd place.

Well...I think Germany has this game. The Germans are playing an awesome game. I know that there's still time before the game is officially over but, congratulations Deutchland. You deserve it. Congratulations Portugal for getting in the semi-finals.
P.S. Jaw...sorry. Don't mean to be insulting the English fans. I'm just getting really annoyed with BBC's coverage on Portuguese team and especially Ronaldo.

If the German win, they will get 3rd place, and Portugal fourth place - hahahaha! Ok, I will talk seriously now! If Germany wins, it'll prove (once more!) that the German players really played hard, just as they tried to do the whole World Cup. Some time ago, people said that this World Cup was destined to be won by the Germans, in a rematch against Brazil, and it would happen with the help of FIFA and the referees. This World Cup has proven that, despite some referees' mistakes, Germany, Portugal, Italy and France reached the semifinals because they really deserved, doing their best. It would be terrible if some teams that hadn't done anything good had reached the semifinals.

I was originally (in the previous games) rooting for Portugal. But, unfortunately for you, I believe that Germany will win.
I've never been to Portugal but have been to Germany several times and it's a beautiful country with wonderful people.
Better luck to Portugal next time - they've done awesome (although they could have played better in the last game). They should be proud to have gotten this far.
