I have now lost two (sadly england) flags from my car, one my own fault, one just left. I still have one flying!

Given the excellent refeering (ha) in the recent matches with Italy (no penalty!) and Portugal (more off than on!), should I have two yelow cards for seperate incidents (one really wasnt fault ref) or a red card, or should my whole team been sent off?

Shameful officiating yet again determines a World Cup match, this time in a penalty kick in the Australia-Italy match. The Australian defender established position within the penalty box, but Italy is awarded a penalty after the attacker trips and falls over the defender. Earlier in the match, Materazzi wrongly received a red card on what should have been called a yellow card.

I have watched almost all of the games and I have to say the refs have been very poor. Do we need video replays? or would something else sort it?

why is it that especially those that have nothing to say when it comes to football/soccer (as it is not their major national sport) argue about a great team like italy now that they passed to QF? what did you expect from your teams?! to win the world cup?!? football is not only goals, it's also strategy and tactics!! italy might not have the nicest way to win, but they win and that is what counts!! would you aussie and american guys argue if the penalty-situation was the other way around?!

I know it sounds kinda silly but....
Underdog teams (especially Autralia) are receiving a massive bias against them in umpiringg terms. They do this because if favourites win then they make more money.
It makes sense when you look at how Australia has received shocking umpiring in each of the four games, and how it cost them their losses and even their draw, which should have been a win, not to mention the Japan game. It has me convinced, what about you?
