Football (American) - December 2007

Michael Vick should have been given the opportunity to agree to forgo half his contract salary to benefit injured and abused animals across the USA, along with 10 years community service to helping those same animals with fund raisers that directly benefit their keep! Michael Vick sitting in jail at the tax payers expense benefits no one! He should have been made to help his victims (Dogs) who are found to be abused by others doing the same cruelty with his money and celebrity status! Why not? Sending him to prison does not help these animals in need!

I am a big Dallas Cowboy fan and although there offense with Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, witten and everyone else has been terrific there defense has not been that great. They gave up 400 yards to Detroit on Sunday and they barely won the game. Detroit was going up and down the field with ease, and I am worried about there defense. And this is not the first time that the defense has not played great. I think that the Cowboys are the best team in the NFC and should go to the Super Bowl, but do you really think they can beat either New England or the Colts. I would like to hear from other Cowboy fans or just football fans in general. Thanks

shouldnt they be the bigger classier team and just ignore the comments and just pummel them on the field. I never saw montana,elway, aikman run up to a player and start jawing his mouth off like brady did. He couldve pissed somone off and he couldve gotten hurt. I lost all respect i had for Brady.

I hope they do go undefeated in the regular season.
Because a loss in the playoffs would be an even sweeter sight to see.

Shawne Merriman is claiming that the Titans play dirty and that his injury was a result of a cheat hit, but If anyone noticed he put a cheap shot late hit on Vince Young previous to his injury. So is his claim legit or did he get what he deserved?

because the colleges get to promote and cash in on individual players, not just the teams, and the individual players get nothing. I'm not saying the colleges should pay them anything, but they should really allow them to do promotions and ads. What do you think?

From my observation over the time Michael Vick has been indicted, I have seen he has had a ton of support from the African-American people. I haven't seen a ton of support from the white people. I am not a racist person but what I see is the African-American race is siding with one of their own. Please, give me your opinion on this.

can any one go against this, manning always bad his probowl wideouts but brady was successful with little talented receivers around him. now that brady have good receivers he is about to shatter manning single season touchdown record , moss is on pace to break jerry rice record and the patriots are gunna break the vikings record for most points in a season. brady did all this in one season. i am not a patriot fan and i'm not from the U.S.A, i just love the game.

I have narrowed it down to this: N.E. fans wish they had a young classy Pro Bowl QB..they wish they had Romo!
They wish they had 1 running game..and are threatened by Dallas having 2 of them.
They wish they had T.O....but had to settle for Moss.
They wish Dallas had to cheat to be great....They wish they hadnt got caught cheating after all these years of geting by with it.
They wish they had a new stadium being built like the mansion the Cowboys will be living in.
They wish they didnt have the * next to their name (no-one wants to be the Barry Bonds of football)

o.k..that should draw a few playground remarks like "cowgirls suck" or something like that.

Its SOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo Perfect, This is the highlight of the season right here! Its all been building up to this moment. The Cheatriots, face off the team they got caught cheating on...and they cant face the music.
Look, I'll give the Pats EVERY other win they've made so far, be we all know for getting caught they should NOt have been given that win. This is NO WAY a perfect season.....WHEN YOU GET CAUGHT CHEATING. So to seal the deal, the same Jets team that beat the Dolphins 41-13, the same Jets team that beat the Steelers...THATS the Jets team that will show up and destroy any and ALLLL hopes of the pats getting a "perfect" season.

I called it. You watch and see.
