Favre...no one has been scrutinized more than he has over the past 3 years. He is arguably having the best season (statistically speaking) of his entire career, this from a guy who has 3 MVP awards - at the age of 38.
The others are good picks, but none are doing what Favre has, and at the age he has, and after so many have written him off years ago.

To me, it's clearly Peyton Manning. Not to take anything away from AP, but many other players have made comebacks from torn ACLs. I mean Jamal Charles just did it and Wes Welker had a quicker comeback from the exact same injury and surgery. Have you ever seen a 36 year old comeback from 4 neck surgeries, missing an entire season, and have to not only go through the struggles of a new team and recreating an offense in less than a season, but also practically re-learn throwing a football and playing at an elite level? I mean what he did is way more impressive and more worthy of the CPOY to me. But AP should get the MVP

Moss is a good choice, as would Bobby Engram (because usually the award is given to a player who had been out before because of injury or for some other reason), but my choice is.......Brett Farve. The media love Farve and he is more likeable than Moss, and he has had such an amazing year, a year that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, expected, it seems to have come from nowhere. His performances this year are so far removed from his performances in recent year that this has truly been a comeback year or him.

Brett Favre, hands down. the MVP award is really only between Favre and Brady. i'm sure Brady will win the MVP, while Favre rightfully deserves the comeback player of the year award. he has faced so much criticism over the past couple years, he deserves it.

I think Randy Moss would be a very good candidate. It sure wouldn't be Kurt Warner after throwing 5 picks to the Seahawk defense, and getting sacked 5 times as well.

All of those players have made amazing strides since last season, but, and I know this might be a stretch since it doesn't include his status of last season, shouldn't Kevin Everett be considered for comeback player of the year? The man has come out of the lowest of lows, and worked harder than any player on any field. He is possibly the best story of the year.

Id go with Big Ben - he was pitiful last year - that is why the team wasn't very good. Moss is just in a better situation where he is actually playing.

I'd say that Randy Moss was the biggest question mark going into the season. He proved to be the best receiver in the league again.
