I live near Seattle WA, so this is my team. But really, feel free to slam them or praise them. I want to know what you guys think of our football team... What about this year? Will they make it much farther?

With a record of 9-4 they are definitely not bad. It is hard to say how they rank, however, because they have not played any teams that are currently considered in the elite. The playoffs will answer your question when they will have to face the likes of the Cowboys, the Packers, and if they make it to the superbowl, most likely the Patriots or the Colts.

Definitely a good season though with some fun games to watch.

Timing their run at precisely the right time. They had their problems with the run (jury's still out on Alexander though, gets all that money, and has done little to justify getting paid), but it's functional now, and Hasselbeck has found a groove with his receivers, and everything is beginning to click for them.

I get the feeling that they could well be the team that everyone will want to avoid playing when the playoffs begin.

You should support the Seahawks team, but watch out for that coach, he'll run out of town if things aren't his way.. I enjoy watching your team play on TV and end up losing, the coach doesn't take a lose very well. Everyone needs to remember the best coach around doesn't win the games, it's the players that protect their quarterback and hold the line that do..

I'm in Spokane and thats my team also, but to speak unbiasedly as possible they are the #3 team in the NFC and between 6-7 in the NFL. However, I will say this we are in a win streak right now and our offense is getting hot and the defense is getting fearse we just might shock some people in the playoffs. We will see.

They don't seem to have an identity. Hard to know what to make of them week-to-week, particularly in that weak division.

With Alexander not so Great this year, the offense has been productive, but ho-hum. Deion Branch is overrated, while Hackett is underrated.

The defense is very underrated and can really hold its own. They've kept them in a lot of games.

I think they could win a game in the playoffs. They have plenty of playoff experience, and if lucky will get healthy in time. Holmgren's a good coach, and is good about in-game adjustments.

I don't mind them. I still consider them the winners of the Super Bowl against Pittsburgh. Arguably one of the worst officiating jobs in history...

there ok if they spread out there offense rather than tryin to run all the time there a pretty good team cuz they have the recieving core and hassleback and morris should stay as the starter i think the team responds better to him if they keep it that way there a hard team to face in the nfc but dont compare to the superbowl champs the PATS

They'll make it to the playoffs, but lose early. Too much talent on other teams. NFC West is a very weak conference, like NFC East. Maybe next year.

I wish they were still in the AFC West. It is still weird seeing them in the NFC.
I don't much care for the Seahawks since they switched to those god awful uniforms, but they would kick the hell out of my Chiefs. But no matter which NFC team makes it to the Super Bowl, the Patriots will be waiting for the kill. But...you never know.
