Obviously, to some degree it will, but historically wise, if the Patriots lose in the AFC Championship or the Super Bowl, they'll be 17-1 or 18-1 respectively. At that point, do we still match them with the 1972 Dolphins because they met/passed their win total, or do we disregard them because of the loss?

Patriots

1. Jets. Horrible team.. just lost to the Bills dont forget.
2. Chargers. Better now, but was playing terrible when they faced the Pats
3. Bills.
4. Bengles. Worst defense there has been in a long time
5. Browns. Walkover for any good team.
and so on..........

Correct if I am wrong, but are any of those teams over 500?

Cowboys.

1. Giants. OVER 500
2. Dolphins. Ok, they suck.
3. Bears. Blew them out. Oh yeah they, they just beat the packers to by the way.
4. Rams. Yes they suck
5. Bills. Not good, but they were playing some momentum and had crowd.
and so on...............

As far as I call tell, the Cowboys have had a harder schedule. So why is everyone is saying having been tested, but they are not saying it about the Pats?

Looking at a stat that only 4 out 15 of the Patriots opponents (16th being the Giants no result for next weeks game yet ) went on to win the following week the rest lost , is that because they were physically tired from the Patriots or couldnt get up for their next oppenent because the Patriots were the best they were going to face .

Buffalo Lost to Pats 38-7 next week won vs Jets 17 -14

Cleveland lost to Pats 34 -17 next week won vs Miami 41-31

Dallas lost to Pats 48-27 next week won vs Minnesota 24-14

Washington loss to Pats 23-20 next week won vs Jets 23-20

3 out of 4 of the teams that won the following week played vs the Jets and Dolphins . The Giants Played awesome against the Patriots can they bring that same intensity into Tampa Bay and win .

Obviously, both the offense and defense have significant room to improve. But where, exactly, are the precise weaknesses? Is Cutler a poor quarterback, or does a weak offensive line leave him vulnerable? If you were the coach, what changes would you make to take the Broncos to the playoffs next year?

Doesn't it anger you that Childress hasn't really played Peterson the last three games? Not to mention, it's so telegraphed when we are gonna use him.

"Peterson goes in, the defense knows we're gonna run, they stuff Peterson, then the idiot Childress takes him out. And he doesn't return for another four plays." Then repeat as necessary..... I think Childress is a very easily telegraphed and boring coach. Your thoughts?

It is going to be a blood bath in Steel town next week. Big John Henderson can't wait to get a shot at Big Ben's shoulder. I am sure the ankle is going to take a pounding too.

Good luck next year!! I don't trash talk much, if ever, but my Jags are going to take it to the house.

They lost to Oakland when they had that time out called on the sideline, which is what Denver did to Oakland the week before, so basically we lost that game because of a missed field goal.

Lost to The Arizona Cardinals because of a non called push-out, plus Anderson was throwing like crap, otherwise we wouldn't have needed that call.

Lost to Pissburgh because of a missed field goal

those 3 games had gone our way the Browns would have been 13-3. As you Browns fans know nothing usually goes our way, look at tonight.

I'm just happy they had a 10-6 season that was great and eventhough we lost the tie breaker for the playoffs and the tie breaker for the division we finished with the same record as the Steelers since they lost today.

honestly i do not think they deserved an undefeated season, they are so cocky especially randy moss who else saw the interview with Brady when they were talking about how they had to practice hard for the game against the eagles and moss just came on camera and started laughing i think they did not deserve to go undefeated this season and i hope they get kicked out the first round in the playoffs
