Looking at a stat that only 4 out 15 of the Patriots opponents (16th being the Giants no result for next weeks game yet ) went on to win the following week the rest lost , is that because they were physically tired from the Patriots or couldnt get up for their next oppenent because the Patriots were the best they were going to face .
Buffalo Lost to Pats 38-7 next week won vs Jets 17 -14
Cleveland lost to Pats 34 -17 next week won vs Miami 41-31
Dallas lost to Pats 48-27 next week won vs Minnesota 24-14
Washington loss to Pats 23-20 next week won vs Jets 23-20
3 out of 4 of the teams that won the following week played vs the Jets and Dolphins . The Giants Played awesome against the Patriots can they bring that same intensity into Tampa Bay and win .

after the way they played against the pats I think that the Giants should have a REAL good chance against the Bucs. Even though the Bucs have the 2nd best defense in the league I think that if Eli can throw 4 Touchdowns and Brandon Jacobs can run like he did against the pats, they should win.

My money is on TB, the NY Giants are beat up and will go down with very little trouble.
The NY babies put everything into the loss to the Pats and have nothing left. They are underdogs for a reason.

The Giants chose nobility over logic in playing so hard against the Patriots. All of America saw a truly gutsy performance but now, with the injuries and emotional drain, it will be tough Tampa. The Giants should have rolled over for the Pats to stir more Patriot hatred from all the jealous fans. I hope that all the ignorant fans that blame the refs and NFL for the Pats success do nothing to improve their team so that they can suffer in their own ignorance.

Football is not like baseball where the playoffs are a 5 or 7 game series....The Giants have only one chance to beat the Bucs so Yes they should be worried about them.....Just like the Bucs should be worried about the Giants...If Big Blue plays the way they did last night the Bucs are going to have their hands full !!

I think they can. They were so good against the Pats. Little Eli did an awesome job. I think they will be on a high and take Tampa.
By the way, I am a Pats fan.

Giants shouldn't be worried. They played a tough game on Saturday against the Pats.

what does this Buffalo Lost to Pats 38-7 next week won vs Jets 17 -14
Cleveland lost to Pats 34 -17 next week won vs Miami 41-31
Dallas lost to Pats 48-27 next week won vs Minnesota 24-14
Washington loss to Pats 23-20 next week won vs Jets 23-20
have to do with anything
2 of those teams are in basically last place and minnesota didnt even make the playoffs that has no relevance and i dont think tampa bay great i mean they are ok but they dont have such a hard division they play the dog fighters and saints who didnt make the playoffs and they play the panthers who didnt make the playoffs if any team is going to have difficulty against a team its gonna be the patriots against the jags in divisionals or conference or the colts in the conference game or the cowboys in the super bowl

The Gints have been wildly inconsistent all year and blew their collective load on Saturday vs. the Pats.
I believe the Bucs, who are fundamentally sound, will handle them easily.

sounds like you sorta manipulated that statistic to say what you want. as for the game, the giants needed to rest. maybe not eli, but the rest of them. they are beat up physically from the patriots game, playing a tampa team that is better on both sides of the ball, and at tampa. i say tampa runs away with it. the bad eli will show up.
