Football (American) - November 2007

I am a freshman in college, and I have never kicked a football before (in an organized game). I would like to try and walk on as a place kicker on a college team as I have heard it's a relatively easy position to pick up. I played soccer growing up, but that was a long time ago, so it's not like I can look to that. I swam in high school, and had offers from division I schools, so I do have some athletic ability. What can I do to learn how to kick, and is it a possibility that somebody may pick me up?

Last year, the Colts were down by alot in the AFC championship game and came to win. Then they beat the Beasrs to win the Super Bowl. Can the Colts beat the Pats in the AFC game again or will they even make it to the AFC game? I want to know what u think.
