Tim Tebow would cut through their defensive backfield like a knife through hot butter....

I have to let my namesake, Steven B, know that in the SEC every team plays 8 conference games, 5 of which are the same 5 teams in your division. Each team also has one permanent team that they play in the opposing division (Georgia plays Auburn every year for instance). The remaining two games are played on a rotating basis on a home-away schedule. The teams are not given the option of which teams they want to play (one cannot play Vanderbilt and Kentucky every year if you are from the SEC West). Thus are the 8 conference games decided - no team has any option to play "patsy" conference games. The overall conference record determines the championships of each division (not the divisional game). As for non-conference games many SEC teams play quality opponents (in addition to the usual non-conference patsies that EVERY team from EVERY conference plays) - LSU played VT this year, Florida plays Florida State every year, Auburn played Kansas State and USF, Georgia played Oklahoma State - these are all quality opponents from major BCS conferences. I realize that many people who do not have an SEC team become upset at SEC fans who feel their conference is superior (which, in my opinion, it is at the top of college football THIS YEAR...not always) but to run your mouth off and spread misinformation is not a very mature way to deal with your frustration.

And no, I don't believe that Florida could beat USC on a neutral site. They are one a team that is too reliant on a single player (read TIm Tebow) right now. I think Carroll would outscheme Meyer because of his reliance on Superman (who is actually human and can get hurt).

I do believe that Florida could beat ASU at a neutral site but it would be close. Mostly because after tonights game we saw that ASUs running game wasn't there, but Florida's defense is young (and as we saw in the Georgia game) has some weakness in the back field. It would be close. Maybe we will see this matchup in a bowl game? It would be a good game.

Based on what! the fact that Florida plays 5 conference games? Florida and the rest of the S.E.C. is so overrated it makes me sick! Congratulations, N.C.A.A. for ruining college football for the sake of money.
