Why are most Jealous of the Dallas Cowboys? GOD would not be for the Pats because we all know they cheat. Also would not be for the Steelers because the Symble on their helmets are the mark of the beast. I will just assume that most haters of the Cowboys are jealous and suffer from Dallas Cowboy envy

I think something fishy is going on. The NFL won't comment on what the tapes contained and they destroyed them within 48 hours of receiving them.

Do you think there was evidence of the Pats cheating in the playoffs and Superbowls? If there was, do you think the NFL destroyed the tapes to keep things quiet?

There would have been such a huge uproar if there was proof that they cheated in the Superbowl. I think there was evidence, so the NFL destroyed the tapes to keep things quiet. The NFL is not commenting about the whole thing, which makes me think they're hiding something.

Somethings just not right with this picture to me...the NFL still hoped Vicks might come back after his suspension - after he raised, trained and fought LOTS of dogs. Now that he's been found with marijuana in his system he may not be able to come back. I for one think he should have lost his contract and any chances of coming back after the dog charges. What message is this sending to the children... abuse and train animal to hurt each other...just don't use pot?
Your thoughts?

Bears are a decent team. Good defense, great special teams, and a decent running game. We all know Grossman caused problems. However, Griese is not the best QB either. Do you think this is going to drastically turn them around, or maybe just get them a few more completed passes a game?

Why would someone with his wealth and fame ever need to bet on dogfighting or do drugs when he can do and buy anything he wants with the money he has? He could easily have just sat back and played it safe since he was already set for life.

With his football world crashing around him, Michael Vick apparently did something to take the edge off the stress.

He smoked some weed.
Now, I'm willing to bet more people knew about Vick's alleged marijuana use than his dogfighting escapades while he was playing for the Atlanta Falcons, but that's a story for another time.

In the last few days, the word on the legal front was that Vick might be sentenced to a lot less than 18 months by U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson after his guilty plea for bankrolling a dogfighting operation. Now that he has tested positive for marijuana use — the sample was taken a week after the start of the NFL season — who knows if this could alter Judge Hudson's stance toward Vick?

Granted, drug use is illegal but I doubt that many of Vick's fans believe this latest offense is any big deal. The NFL, however, has higher standards for its employees.

They are currently the Number 1 offense and defense in yards.

They are Top 5 in all 4 passing/rushing offense and defense.

They are Top 3 in points for and points against.

This is after playing 2 playoff teams last year, 1 with the best record in the NFL and one with a record that would have won 3 NFC divisions with their record.

The Colts, the consensus 2nd best team, are barely in the Top 5 for points scored and 12 for points against. Pretty mediocre defense inyards given up against the pass and run. Barely in the Top half for rushing offense yards gained. Mediocrity alla round that team, it seems, no? Not even the pass offense is Top 3.

Has any team ever been this complete?

It's possible but they'll need some help. I still think they can go 9-7 and go into the playoffs for a wildcard spot. I hope.
