say for instance team a has a 11-5 overall record but is 1-5 in his division.in the same division,team b is 10-6 overall but 6-0 in the division.who won the division?

overall record rules over all, divisional is for tie breakers.

Overall record would win the division. Division record only comes into play to break a tie. For instance, if both teams finished 10-6 but team A was 3-3 in the division and team B was 4-2 in the division then team B would win the division based on a better division record.

the team with the best overall record would win the division, but in case of a tied overall record, the team who had the best division record would win the division.
