Yeah thats totally bogus. I sent that guy an email. Im waiting to see if I get a reply. I doubt it though. They always make dumb picks like that. Its like they are putting what they want to happen. Dude the guy above me is totally nuts. The AFC as a whole might be better, but I promise Dallas could hang with them. They will go 3-1 or possibly 4-0 against the AFC this year. They were 3-1 last year, and beat the Colts. They are only going to get better. I think the top 5 is NE, Indy, Dallas or Pitt either way and then GB. Baltimore doesnt look impressive to me at all. They barely beat an average NFC team. I might be a Dallas fan, but Im also a NFL fan. You have to look at everything as a whole as it has happened so far this year. You cant rank teams by how you think they will do. It is a week 3 ranking. It is who has played the best so far.

I like this statement he makes. "The really interesting debate is over the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. Baltimore has shown flashes of excellence on defense but not enough offense." So they are some could be's on D, and are no ones On O??
Sounds like they should be 3rd to me.. lmao

It isn't laughable. While I believe Pittsburgh deserves #3 at the moment, the Ravens are definitely the 4th best team in the NFL because they are the 4th best team in the AFC and the NFC is a total joke. It is also arguable that the Ravens should be ahead of Pittsburgh because they have beat their rivals from Pittsburgh 3 straight.
Cincinnati is no "average" team. If they were in the NFC, they'd win 13 games a season. And they showed up on defense against the Ravens. Cincy is probably 8th best in the NFL (after Denver, Tennessee, and Houston, though not necessarily in that order).
Here's my whole rankings
1) New England (they're blowing everybody out right now in the best conference in football)
2) Indianapolis (They've proven that last regular season was the fluke, not the playoffs)
3) Pittsburgh (If you don't count the 2 losses to Baltimore last year, they've won 9 in a row)
4) Baltimore (the best defense in the NFL and they're winning even though they haven't showed up yet; look for them to blow somebody out pretty bad soon)
5) Denver (Jay Cutler is for real and Denver is good enough to win the AFC's weakest division)
6) Houston (Despite losing both of their top RBs and their best WR, they stuck with the Colts last week; They are for real)
7) Tennessee (Vince Young is proving that he is no fluke, by carrying this team once again)
8) Cincinnati (While their defense is inconsistent, their offense is one of the best in the NFL, even without suspended standout WR Chris Henry for half the year)
9) Dallas (This team is good enough to win 13 or 14 games, get beat by a few AFC teams, and become the next NFC team to get beat in the Super Bowl)
10) Jacksonville (While they probably won't stay out of the cellar in the AFC South, they are still a very good team and better than San Diego, Chicago, or Green Bay)
11) New York Jets (a playoff team last year, the Jets were sunk by playing 2 top 4 teams to start the year, but they are still a very good team)
12) Green Bay (The Packers are the 2nd best team in the NFC, but they would get ripped apart against most AFC teams, which is why they're fortunate to have the sad-sack AFC West)
13) San Diego (The Chargers are being sunk by an incompetent coaching staff, but they beat Chicago and should beat the rest of their NFC competition and they are certainly the 11th best team in the AFC and better than KC, Oakland, Buffalo, Miami, or Cleveland)
14) San Francisco (Frank Gore has yet to get going and the 49ers are still playing very well, except, of course, when they're playing the AFC)
15) Arizona (They lost to the best team in their division and one of the top AFC teams, but beat Seattle, though it is close)
16) Seattle (Seattle upset the Bengals last week, but the Cardinals beat them; they are 3rd best in a West division that is the class of the NFC)
17) Chicago (Now that Grossman is on the bench, they should be better, but their defense was overrated to begin with and Green Bay tore them up in their last head-to-head meeting)
18) Detroit (The Lions are better than before, but their defense needs to get better fast to pass Chicago)
19) Oakland (The Raiders have been decent thus far and have earned the #12 spot in the AFC)
20) Cleveland (The Browns have been a surprise of late under Anderson, but they are going nowhere with a washed up has-been like Jamal Lewis at RB)
21) Kansas City (The Chiefs are a joke, but they're better than comparable NFC teams, so they are #21 in the NFL and #14 in the AFC)
22) Carolina (Sure, they haven't beat anybody yet, but neither has Tampa Bay)
23) Tampa Bay (anybody can beat New Orleans and St. Louis)
24) Philadelphia (Their blowout of Detroit puts them in this spot, but they need to start winning more often)
25) Washington (Washington lost to the Giants, but they've currently got a better record)
26) New York Giants (All of these NFC East rankings can easily be switched around)
27) Minnesota (The Vikings rank ahead of Buffalo and Miami, but only by a hair)
28) Buffalo (Buffalo almost beat Denver, but has been unfortunate enough to play #3 Pittsburgh and #1 New England in consecutive weeks and now has their QB on the shelf)
29) Miami (The Dolphins are a joke and an embarrassment to the AFC, losing twice to the NFC already)
30) Atlanta (They've given alot more effort than either of the teams they rank ahead of)
31) St. Louis (The Rams are awful, but they have a competitive tradition, unlike the worst team in the NFL)
32) New Orleans (Now that their RB is the shelf and replaced by the most overhyped player in NFL history and that their overrated and overachieving players have come back to earth, the Saints have returned to their traditional role of the worst team in the NFL)
