people are trippin over this. i mean damn hes been through a lot of stuff the past six months and u know what weed can relieve your stress. i don't know how y'all might relieve stress but come on. leave vick alone and let him deal with his own troubles. i went on ESPN.com and i saw that the vick story had like 1500 comments and its only been there for like 12 hours. freakin losers leave that dude alone.

Uh so what about smoking weed? Now I personally dont have a huge problem with marijuana and people using it but the NFL does. It is agains the rules of the NFL to use marijuana. The use of marijuana ruined Ricky Williams career. Until he tested positive he was one of the best running backs in the league and then he tested positive a couple times and the next thing you know he's playing in Canada. This is not what Michael Vick needed right now. I know he's under a lot of stress but any person who could possibly try to defend Michael Vick at this point is just foolish.

Well, those dogs were treated pretty harsh. Even if Vick didn't take part in the dogfighting, you have to wonder how could he possibly have not known that this was going on at his property? If you're going to rent your property out to someone, at least make sure they are not going to use it for something as illegal and barbaric as dogfighting. If Vick isn't an animal abuser, he either condones it or is stupid enough to associate with the wrong people. He deserves a fair trial, but if these allegations are true, he deserves the maximum punishment for it, and should not be allowed to play in the NFL again.

Smoking weed is a big no-no in the NFL. Football players are held to a higher standard than the average employee. Having said that ( I'm sure Vick knows this more than you or I ) He might have hurt his chances of playing in 2008. Look, I'm all for redemption and forgive and forget. I'd love to see Vick redeem himself but let's face it. He's not exactly making the right moves by smoking weed. The judge that tried his case was lenient and judicious. Now after this incident the judge that tried his case might say "On 2nd thought. Vick needs more jail time to get his act together." That's just universally stupid of Vick. More than anything, he needs to show that he's sorry for what he's done. Smoking weed at a critical time like this is like I said, universally stupid.

Yea he only smoked weed SO WHAT? ITS NOT LIKE ITS AGAINST THE LAW OR ANYTHING HUH? My gosh, drugs are killin this world everywhere and the law is takin the the garbage and putting it in the trash. Vick is gone, because he broke the law. He never did anything special in the NFL, I mean look at Joey Harrington, is he good? No he is aweful but HIS STATS ARE BETTER THAN VICKS! Vick fought dogs, and he abused them. He brought marijuana on a plane, and flipped you off....NOT JUST YOU BUT EVERY FALCON FAN IN THE WORLD. How can you respect trash like that? That is uncalled for and he better be glad I dont run this here country or he would have 20+ years in prison. And in prison he would be beat and abused like he did those dogs. But no us freakin losers will leave Vick alone so he can be a GREAT example of your children and mine too in the future. We all knew he was smoking weed months ago when Miami police swept that little pot episode at the airport under the rug. It's not that he is smoking weed, its that he is smoking weed while on probation. What a loser! That judge has him at his mercy and can give him the maximum of 5 years if he wants, and Michael proves he is on a changing path by smoking a joint. Mike Vick is not getting any more criticism then he deserves. Nobody put him in this situation but himself.

there are other ways of relieving stress, like drinking legalized beer. the guy is a flat out idiot. if you had the power that he held, why would you want to let all the people that looked up to you down? no disrespect, but stop standing up for vick. the only one who can help vick now is GOD. vick believed that he was a god at one point and was reminded that he wasn't.

Are you for real? You know what your right we should just change all of our laws so they only apply to average suckers like you and me. "Hey Mike Vick your a millionaire so go ahead and kill some dogs and smoke some weed, its cool don't worry about it." Come on man the guy is under house arrest and knows that can be tested for drugs at random and yet he decides he is going to take the chance of more legal trouble to smoke some weed now that's just stupid.

Vick is an idiot. I personally do not have a problem with smoking a little pot, HOWEVER it is still an illegal substance and also a banned substance as far as the NFL is concerned. I think Vick knows his NFL career is over because of his actions concerning the dog fighting so he figures smoke a bit, it doesn't matter. his career is done.

Michael Vick is an absolute idiot. I guess you can take the scumbucket out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of the scumbucket can you? HE CHOSE to do the things that have gotten him in trouble. Nobody was shocked to hear he had weed in his system. Michael Vick is a loser plain and simple. He looks like a scumbucket and he is a scumbucket. So much talent but so little brains, common sense or dignity. When you make millions off the american public you need to set a good example. He has not. Such a waste of great talent. Sadly the black community is turning this into a race issue. . . it is not about race. . it is about a thug. . be it black or white. . . . being unbelievable inhumane to poor defenseless animals. Cuz if i was busted smoking weed i would get a nice 2500 fine (Which i couldent pay,) so i would end up in jail for 3 mouths and parol for 2 years.. and lose my job!
Lets take it easy on him, i mean after all he is black and we dont treat him better than the normal people, were rasist.
