Have y'all now finally accept that the Colts are the better team? Losing is what y'all deserve since y'all were so ugly to the Saints fans.

who do you guys got in next years super bowl, and who will win

It got me thinking because I don't recall ever seeing it happen. If a team is attempting to kick the extra point after a touchdown and the holder drops the ball or something and they end up running it in, how many points do they get?

Thanks.

My husband and I are in Germany because he's in the Army. The tv stations we get here are Armed Forces Network(AFN) in layman's terms we got to see the superbowl minus the commercials, and it doesn't look like they will air them for us at all. I plan on checking out you tube in a few days-but I'm dying to know the commercials and why they were your favorites.

You guys talked a big game after winning to Saints, and bad mouthed them. I don't see any comments now. I guess now you see what it's like. Where are all of the Katrina comments now? GO NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!!!!! I thought that the word colts was the abbreviation for count on losing the superbowl? Isn't that what you guys were saying? Guess what... wrong again!!!

Winning the cointoss then Devon Hester returning the opening kickoff for a TD, what would they have won.

I thought about that, then said what are the odds....well looked what happened.

Wonder what the Vegas odds were on that happening?

Ok, so he won one Super Bowl and was gifted the MVP (Rhodes with over 100 yards and a TD, anyone?), but who didn't see that coming? When will people realize it's only one ring though and stop ranking him among the best? Or are we punished to a lifetime of unwarranted pro-Manning hype?

The Colt didn't won the Super Bowl

Tony Dungy won Super Bowl 41 !!!!

2007-02-04 14:59:52 · 13 answers · asked by Taco 2

I listened to Dungy's post game interview on the radio on the way home from a Super Bowl. I found it very interesting that both he and the Colts' owner put a great deal of focus on God and faith in those interviews. In fact, Dungy mentioned that the opening return by Hester was something they talked about with his team--that sometimes the Lord doesn't take you straight to your goal, that sometimes you have to weather the storm. He gave thanks to God again. He then made sure to mention that not only was it important that he won the game as an African-American coach but that both he and Lovie Smith had shown you could win while still acting as Christians and doing things "the right way."

Now I'm not even one of those people who thinks that it's necessary to mention God every five minutes to be a good person, or that God actually influences the outcome of football games or anything like that. But I just found that cutting out all of Dungy's references to his faith to be misleading.

I mean, come on. Dungee, Manning, the Colts manager (can't remember his name), and many other players overcoming their personal trials through faith, making it to the playoffs, only to face a team that's beaten them in too many past playoffs...The Patriots.
Then you have the nerveracking game between the two teams that would rival any last minute game in any sports movie to date, then have the underdogs barely getting a win, then going to the Super Bowl.
Then there would be the Super Bowl game which, while not being as close as the other one, was just as good. Then to have them win, and have them give God the Glory, understanding what's really going on!?

I mean, come on!

Would this not make an amazing sports movie?

I'm sure I'm not the only one around here that is glad that the Super Bowl is over so people quit asking questions about it. Please let this be true. Don't believe too many questions have been about the Super Bowl just look at the first page of questions under American Football. I almost garuntee 85% + are about the Bowl. Just looking forward to some knew questions.

Were there any surprises in Superbowl XLI..?

Did Peyton Manning deserve the MVP Award for Superbowl XLI..?

Could the Colts come back into the 2007-08 post season playoffs with the same team/coaching staff..?

Good game...and, what about the halftime show with Prince...?

Your thoughts..?

Personally I am happy that we won this year than last year because the Colts worked for everything they got this year the hard way, they never gave up, they went through adversity, the defense was criticized all year, and Peyton's number's were down, and yet we still won! I knew we had a better chance to win this year than any other because the entire year we played more close games than others team so when the playoffs came the Colts were more prepared than anyone else. Also, I would like to say good game to the fans and the city of Chicago, our neighbors. I can think of no other team or city that we wanted to be in the Super Bowl with than you guys. You, like us and all midwestern fans, are die hard fans and if we didn't win (thank God we did) I would be happy that a city of such loyal fans would. Good year and trust me, the Bears are young and they will have more chances. The city of Indianapolis and all of Indiana is going nuts! GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I never knew Prince could be so good! It's so weird to see a performer with a guitar---was he really playing it or faking it? Was anyone else blown away, or was it lame?
