Seriously, I never knew Prince could be so good! It's so weird to see a performer with a guitar---was he really playing it or faking it? Was anyone else blown away, or was it lame?

I now see the light. Prince KILLED it. IN the rain. His perm was leaking and he still blew it up!! He is one of the greatest musicians ever

I think it was the best half time show I've ever seen. Those folks at the stadium saw one helluva show. Prince can play guitar almost as good as Hendrix. He was not faking anything, he can play. The only song of his that I've liked is "Purple Rain" but after that I enjoy his guitar work.

That was Prince live - he didn't lip synch or fake the guitar playing. He's actually very good on the guitar. If you haven't seen the movie "Purple Rain," you should, because Prince sings, plays & acts in it.

He is a good guitar player and always plays it in concert. most people don't know this because his MTV Music Videos never show him playing guitar. I think they wanted Prince this year because no chance of a wardrobe malfunction.

Yes, he was really playing it. He was good, but I wasn't "blown away".
I don't understand the need nowadays for most pop artists to have back-up dancers. Do they suck so bad that they need these other people to enhance their performance?

It was fantastic! I loved Prince back in the 80's! I was totally blown away, even my husband, who doesn't like Prince, was intensly watching it!

He really plays the guitar, and yes he is awesome.
Never a bad performace with him.
One of the true talents of his time.
Beyond his weirdness he is a really good musician and composer.

omg i saw prince in concert years ago that was a show while i do like prince and his tallents tonights show was some what slow compared to what he used to do.

Prince sucks...in fact, all of the football show talent sucks....Janet Jackson, Prince, Rolling Stones, John Fogerty...why can't they get someone who wasn't over about 15 years ago....

I agree...Prince tore the roof off of the show. He was very captivating and held my attention for the whole segment.
