My husband and I are in Germany because he's in the Army. The tv stations we get here are Armed Forces Network(AFN) in layman's terms we got to see the superbowl minus the commercials, and it doesn't look like they will air them for us at all. I plan on checking out you tube in a few days-but I'm dying to know the commercials and why they were your favorites.

My favorite was the Garmin commercial. A guy with a Garmin GPS device turns into a large-size superhero fighter in order to stop the destruction of his foldup map which has turned into a rampaging Maposaurus monster. Check out the ad at the link below.

Doritos chip commercial. If you go to their website, they had a contest where a video made by a normal Joe would win a prize and get their commercial aired at half time. The 30sec 1.5 million dollar slot

The Snicker kiss, the CareerBuilder.com commercials, and the Dave Letterman/Oprah ones are my top faves.
The Snicker kiss showed two guys working on a car and one guy was eating a snicker bar sticking out of his mouth and the other guy bit into the other half so it looked like they were kissing. To offset that, they both ripped out a chunk of their hair to make them more macho.
The CareerBuilder.com commercials involved business workers fighting in combat in the jungle (wearing office supplies as armor and weapons).
The Letterman/Oprah commercial involved two witty punchlines from the both of them (Dave was wearing a Colts jersey and Oprah was wearing a Bears jersey).

The K-Fed one was good but I liked the rock, paper, scissors one and the Snickers one. The rest were kind of lackluster.
Also, god bless you and your husband in Germany. I hope that you remain safe in these troubled times overseas.

You didn't miss anything. They all sucked. I know AFN very well. Their infomercials were more entertaining.

Had to be "but he's got an ax!" then, "yeah, but I'm sure he has a good reason for it". Was that a bud lite commercial?
