Winning the cointoss then Devon Hester returning the opening kickoff for a TD, what would they have won.

I thought about that, then said what are the odds....well looked what happened.

Wonder what the Vegas odds were on that happening?

Those Would Be Two Seperate Bets, First You Would Be Betting On The Coin Toss Which Is A -110, Then You Would Have To Place A Prop Bet On The Opening Kickoff That Number Would Have Been +1500. Now You Can Connect Those With A Parlay In Which You Would Win About $2955 On A $100 Parlay, Or You Could Have Connected Them In An Action Reverse Which Would Have Won $4525 But With A Risk Of About $230.

Hester had a great year, and the Colts kick coverage is bad. So, the odds probably wouldn't be that long. Maybe 30 to 1 odds for the kickoff return TD, plus 2 to 1 odds for the coin toss. So, 60 to 1 odds for both to happen would be my guess.

BTW, the opening kick was also returned for a TD (by Ohio State) in the BCS National Championship Game. Both Ohio State and the Bears lost.

EDIT:
It looks like I was about right. It says here that the odds of Hester returning the opening kickoff for a TD was 30 to 1...

That kick-off thing was pretty phenomenal, gotta admit, though. Sorry you didn't act on your hunch, but it's better than betting they'd win, then you're out $100.
