Were there any surprises in Superbowl XLI..?

Did Peyton Manning deserve the MVP Award for Superbowl XLI..?

Could the Colts come back into the 2007-08 post season playoffs with the same team/coaching staff..?

Good game...and, what about the halftime show with Prince...?

Your thoughts..?

I'm a Bears fan, but not a Peyton-hater. What does Peyton "deserve"? Whatever he wins for his team. But his *team* did great. More Peyton commercials? Sure, bring 'em on. Yeah, they're entertaining.

What burns my toast is that the vaunted Bears, the team I rooted for, did not show up. If the Colts beat *that* team, I wouldn't be as embarrassed.

A Colts comeback? It's very possible. Peyton is *unleashed*. He can do anything from this point, on. Dungy could have a long career in Indy, and become synonymous with the Colts, like Ditka in Chicago, Landry in Dallas, etc.

Prince was a better half-time act than Rolling Stones last year, even if he rehashed some of his old hits.

Congrats to the Colts.

Bears, get to work.

I'm thrilled, and not surprised about the game, but definitely surprised about the MVP award. I do think Peyton should have received it, but hey it went to a deserving player, I suppose. I do believe the Colts will be back as a formidable team this next season with this team and staff. Bob Sanders certainly is a great contributor! Loved the halftime show with Prince. How appropriate to do Purple Rain. Beautiful, I thought.

Biggest suprise is the amount of turnovers.

I think Addai should have gotten MVP. 77 rushing yards 66 recieving yards. Rookie. First player to have 10 catches and over 15 rushes in Super Bowl history.

They will in fact be in the playoffs next year with the same team. Hopefully they will make some moves to make even a stronger defensive squad. Though they looked pretty clean defensivly in the playoffs.

I did not watch the halftime show. Prince? Give me a break!

Go Colts! They deserved it. They worked hard. It was a fun game. The refs made good calls.

Rex Grossman was the X factor I believe for the Bears.

Nope not to much suprised me. I think yes Peyton did because he's has had that burden of never winning a ring on his back and now since he has I think he deserves the MVP and he did a hell of a job showing that in the game. No. Not a Prince fan I didn't even watch half time had to go get some more hot wings haha. It was over hyped in my opinion. I used to be a Colts fan so I was hoping for them to pull this out as they did. I mean I kind of figured the Colts was winning after they made it to the super bowl. It's like look at the past couple of years the Colts played what happens Peyton seems to choke a couple of games before they qualify for the super bowl. Since they actually made it I had thought to myself, "It's Peyton's year for that ring." That's what I thought about it.

The game was exciting from start to finish. The first play when the Bears ran a 92 yd. touchdown was a big surprise.
Peyton DID deserve the MVP Award. Think back to the game. He was the best and led them to a win.
It is very possible that the Colts will come back again.
I hated Prince. The Florida A&M band were wonderful.
I loved it when the owner, Coach Tony Dungy, and Peyton all said they gave God the glory. That's just awesome!

I was kind of surprised when Hester ran that TD on the first play. That was horrible as a Colts fan to watch. Did Peyton deserve MVP? I think so. But I wish they could do MVP for more than one player. The receivers did great. The defense played awesome (especially those players who got the picks). I think that the Colts might have it slightly rougher next season with a lot of their team going free agent and they only have a small cap to play around with. I hope they can come back with most of their players, it would really be great to see them do a repeat of this year. :)

I thought the game overall was boring, and halftime was kind of lackluster, but good game nonetheless because the Colts walked away Super Bowl champions.

GO COLTS!

Manning should not have been voted MVP.
Rex Grossman was terrible but that's no surprise.
And I picked a 31-17 Colts win so that's no surprise either.
The game was so-so and the halftime Prince show stunk!!!

I think the only ones surprised were the Bears' fans. I do think Peyton deserves to be the MVP, I do think they can do it again next season, I think it was an excellent game and I thought Prince was great.

Hammond, Indiana.
I am so glad this happend. Now all the Bears fans in Northwest Indiana who think this is their backyard can take their sorry butts home. This is Colts territory. Let me spell it out for you

To all the media like fox news and CBS who had nothing good to say about the colts... SAY IT LOUD!

To all the Northwest Indiana Bears fans who came to MY house and said I'm in the wrong town.... SAY IT LOUD!

To the Munster Indiana Target employee who said he was going to burn the colts stuff along with their misplaced fans while customers where in the store (That right Target, it was your employee).... SAY IT LOUD!
