I bet Peyton shook Rex's hand after the game and said, "Its alright Rexy, you still have the best arm in the neighborhood."

However, I feel that he probably doesn't have the best arm in the neighborhood. That would be giving him too much credit.

Does anybody think Eagles will be as good next year as they were from 02-04. Losing T.O. does not have anything to do with it. Before Stallworth's injury McNabb was leading the NFL in passing yards, TDs and QB rating. Eagles were also ranked 1st in offense. if Eagles get their D back together and stop losing their players to injurys we can be back next year as the best team in the NFC like we were in 04 and should of been in 02 and 03.

The only reason alot of colts playoff games this year have been close is because of Peyton Manning struggling. Peyton Manning almost never struggles during the regular season, and the way colts defense have been playing since Bob Sanders has returned the Colts should be unstopable next year.

Back when players had to work in the produce aisle during the off-season to make ends meet, what did the Super Bowl MVP get? Like a used Chevy Vega or an AMC Gremlin?

I personally think Grossman who was the best Colts player in the Super bowl, Rhodes, or the DB who ran the first interception back should have gotten it. But they had to give it to Peyton because he's the leagues poster boy.

Chargers the Early Favorite for Next Year's Super Bowl
Posted Feb 5th 2007 7:00AM by Michael David Smith
Filed under: Chargers, Super Bowl

Already tired of talking about Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning? Then let's talk about next year. One Web site has already posted betting odds for the winner of Super Bowl XLII, and the early favorites are Marty Schottenheimer's San Diego Chargers. It seems that Vegas likes the Chargers, with 6-1 odds, because the nucleus of the 2006 squad is back, and the Chargers were the best team in the league during the 2006 regular season.

The Colts (7-1) and Bears (8-1) are next, according to the oddsmakers. That makes sense, although the Colts are not in very good salary cap shape and the Bears have a great big question mark at quarterback.

Several teams are tied for the longest odds, at 100-1: Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Oakland, San Francisco and Tampa Bay. Anything can happen in the NFL, but betting on those teams, even at 100-1, seems like throwing money away.

He is a great qb but there it timess when he sucks and about 6 times this season he sucked and the super bowl was one of them! Do you think he will be gone and Brian Griese will be in what do you think will Loving-Lovie Smith stick with him ( he seems to like him for some reason) or kick him 2 backup and replace him. Let me know!

I know (from another question here) that player who are voted as starters or reserves to the pro-bowl get credit even if they are injured and don't go (ie: like Rivers, Urlacher, etc..), however, do people who were originally not voted, but go because of those injures (Ray Lewis --who's injured, Marcus McNeil, and believe it or not, Vince Young) get credit? I don't want to discredit these guys, because Ray Lewis is a sure HoFer, but if you didn't get voted to start/back-up, I don't think you should get credit, even if you deserved to go (Marcus McNeil). --can anyone give me the low-down? ---regardless of the answer, what are people's opinions on this matter?

The Bucs struggled this year, but injuries played a large role. With Simms out, Gradkowski had to take control of the offense, and it was clear that he wasn't ready. The defense suffered injuries to key players such as Rice and Kelly, and they occasionally showed flashes of their former brilliance. Cadillac was disappointing, but the running game was non existent in many games since the Bucs fell behind early. Next year, how will they bounce back?

Now, I know i'm just a woman, and I don't know a great deal about football..........but it seems like people are coming down quite hard on Rex. He's young and has taken the team further than they have gone since I was a little girl so for that he (as well as the rest of the team) should get credit for that. Am I missing something?

Peyton deserved this more than anyone b.c he didn't win it for the ring, the car, the money, or the MVP

he won it for cooper, his dad, and his other family

it was coopers dream to win a Superbowl b.c of injuries he had to stop playing and said he would live that dream through Peyton.

and Peyton was not going to lose that for his brother

and for people saying it was boring yeah the commercials were but the game was great

you either didnt like it b.c your team wasnt in it or they lost
