Well, everyone has there likes and dislikes. I love football, and if I had the money I would pay to see the pro-bowl if teams were in it that I liked! I sure you waste money on things you could give somewhere else...everybody does.

Supposedly because you get to see the best of the best battle it out. Problem is none of the teams for which the players play for want their guys injured so the ProBowl is more showponying. In Australia we had the same concept called State of Origin football in our Australian Rules Football League whereby the best players from each state represent their state. This had a big following in the early days but hasn't been back for many years now, too many injuries and beacause players tend to go in more softly for the ball i think some fans thought it was a waste of money.

At least the ProBowl is played at the end of the season and not during the middle of the season like it was here

Some people just want to be around NFL players, especially people who don't live in an NFL city or near one. I would go to Hawaii, but I wouldn't pay for that game. From what I understand, tickets are really cheap.

If you live in Hawaii, it's the only major league sporting event of any type you get to see live without flying to the mainland.
