I agree with you. It takes a team to win, it takes a team to lose. He deserves another year. If again, he fails to produce in another situation such as this (major playoff) than perhaps he cannot handle the stress anymore or it is time for him to move on. For example, Titans QB Steve McNair is a very good QB, however, he had stalemated in Nashville. He has moved on and doing much better.

Ok first and foremost, Rex did NOT get the team to the SB!
The Bears Defense and Special teams won majority of their games this year, plain and simple.
Yes, Rex is young (and stupid), but that is no excuse. Tom Brady was young in his first SB and he went up against the mighty Rams, better known as The Greatest Show On Turf.....and beat them....ON TURF!!!
Here is Rex's biggest issue that I saw in the game. He doesn't step into his throws. He's usually leaning backwards or he's squared to the line or even flat footed when he throws, this leads to his passes "floating" and easy reads for the Defense to pick him off. I watched him and at least 70% of his throws were NOT done in the standard fundamental way a QB learns way back in Pop Warner football days.
Rex needs to actually learn how to step into the throw like all other NFL QB's. This will make his passes 100% better and just think what he could be like if he actually threw the ball correctly.
So to answer your question....no, I don't think he deserves another season in the NFL until he learns the proper way to throw a football.

they're about an identical as QBs bypass. it isn't as if Brian Griese is taking them decrease back to the superbowl. it truly is something that Rex Grossman DID do. The Bears favor a quarterback...undesirable. Is Kyle Orton the reply? Time will tell. I truly imagine its the practise, no longer the gamers. Plus, a consistent operating sport ought to help. This merely isn't the year for the Bears. enable Orton have his probability, if he's waiting. Or commerce, signal a loose agent, or draft a sparkling QB and RB contained in the low season.

Rex is getting a lot of bad press right now. As a Packer's fan, I think he is a great quarterback for the Bears. I would give him another year at least.

If they can get somebody else, even have a chance to get someone else, they should. But who? i'd say go for garcia maybe, rex is below average on that team and by no means a reason for their success. If rex is your qb next year i guarantee they won't make it to the super bowl.

rex grossman didn't deserve to be in the second half of last nights game, he floated balls and the defender had easy reads on him, given all that, he still deserves a shot next year, he's only started 19 games. but lovie should have a short leash on him

he may be young, but damn! doesnt he learn from anything, like not to throw the lob passes. he literally threw the game away with the int resulting in the td. he should have played safer and more consistent by moving the chains like peyton did.
