I'd like to see someone else at QB, but I think Rex will start at that pos for the following reasons:
1. Lovie will still be coach, and he is committed to Rex. I think that will carry over to the next season.
2. Rex "took the Bears to the Super Bowl" in his first full year as starting QB. That's clout, some may say. Management and coaching may say so. (I don't really know what they think, but it's my guess.)
I think that there won't even be an open competition for the spot.

Grossman deserves another shot. The Bears faced a team that wanted it more than they did. I hear everybody saying "He stunk it up." He threw only one more interception than Peyton Manning. He has just finished his first complete season in the NFL injury free.
What about the defense? They couldn't tackle guys that were running into them.
Cedric Benson couldn't move the pile and has not done anything spectacular the whole post-season. Should he be benched?
Ron Turner had a rusher in Thomas Jones that was averaging 7 yards/carry (15 rushes for 115 yards), but he decided to throw with 11 minutes left in the game. Should he be fired?
Lovie Smith put his second option in deep instead of Hester in after the Colts first TD because he thought they were going to squib kick it. In the 1st quarter? Not even Belicheck squibs in the first quarter. Should he be fired for making bad decisions?
Fans of Chicago need to be thankful that they have a team that is good enough to get to the Super Bowl. I can think of 30 other teams that wish they were that lucky.

Yeah I dont know exactly how long Lovie Smith will stick up for him. I think they will either keep Grossman or they will release him and try to sign Jeff Garcia. If Grossman does get released, I think that the Vikings are a good option for him. He could get a new start there and I think he has the potential to be a good quarterback, he just needs some more experience.

Whether they draft or deal, Grossman will be gone, Griese will be number two and the new guy will be number one. Drew Bledsoe will probably be available. Dallas won't want to pay that much for a backup quarterback. Grossman would do fine as Romo's backup.

Go with rex grossman. Arizona hasnt been able to stop the pass lately, and the way the Grossman has been playing you cant not play him when he plays someone like the Cardinals. Bledsoe has been struggling and i expect him to continue to struggle because of the offensive line.

I think Grossman will be QB next year because Lovie has to stick with him after all the press conferences that he said Grossman was his QB, But theres a time(regular season) to be faithful to your young QB, And a time(Super Bowl) to quit being stupid when you see your young QB falling apart in the biggest game of any of the players carrers.

I know Lovie probably wants to kick him back to 2nd string, but who is out there to lead longterm. Hell they are too far back in the draft to trade up to get a Jamarcus Russell or Brady Quinn, so who is out there for them to get. And don't bet on Griese because he is about 80 years old

rex grossman is done for. i think and dont call me crazy for this but the bears should get John Beck (BYU) in the 3rd or 4th round in the draft. He is perfect for the bears style of offense. for those who dont know who John Beck is, he's a QB that did fantastic for BYU.

They need to can all their QBs, they would have won it all this year if they had not had a terrible QB. He was the single handed reason that the Bears lost last night, and no one else was to blame.
