Only works at the college level or lower, but must have the right dominating players. Works well with teams you physically overpower or less talented teams.

Can be a big liability playing with fast talented teams who defense the run well.

Basically its an archaic system that even the Big 12 teams are abandoning. You might be able to win in the Big 12 with it but if you want a national championship it won't do against teams like Ohio St, USC, the Florida Schools Etc.

players are bigger and faster. Even in texas highschool, teams are going to the pass now to set up the run. good question though. With the right players, the wish bone is explosive but also the run and shoot.
