I say he's a lock. Two National titles, and coming up on his third straight appearance in a National Championship game (which I believe USC will win, btw). Not to mention his .969 career winning percentage.

What do you think?

Year after year the media/nation says its hard to go undefeated in a season in the SEC. Has this become an excuse for the Conference teams to get to the National Championship? Remember, there are teams throughout history that have had to beat 4 top ten teams in a single year to win the national championship, Does the SEC nowadays have a legitimate excuse?

Mine is the Seahawks.

If I had to pick a favorite team that is not my home team it would be the Chargers

The reason I'm asking is because Alabama is looking for a head coach and said they are looking for the best.

Mike Shula was making 1.8 million a year and got 4 million to walk.

Alabama wants Nick Saban at Miami and he makes 4 million a year there, He said he wasn't interested but Alabama made him an offer and I'd think it would have to be 5 million a year or more.

I read that the head coach for Notre Dame Charlie Weis makes 5 million per year.

Whats the highest yearly wage paid to a college football coach?

If you had to pick one game, with the points, what would be your best bet? I think Kansas City at Cleveland. The spread is 5 1/2 but I think KC will win by a lot more.

When a RB gains yards give the same amount of yardage gained 2 the 1 or 2 key blockers for the play. When a receiver catches a pass, give the same amount of yardage gained 2 the entire OL. When any of the so-called skill players score; share the TD, extra point & field goal points with the OLmen.
On passing plays, keep track of the time that the OL kept the D away from their QB up 2 the point the QB releases the ball or decides 2 or has 2 run with it. If QB gets sacked, charge the 1 or 2 OLmen that got beat by the defensive player(s) that sacked QB & deduct any lost yardage from him/them. Unless it is a coverage sack; if the entire line collapses, deduct the yards lost & charge them all with giving up a sack.
The same If a RB gets stopped for a loss.
At the end of the year, the OL with the best overall stats go 2 the Pro Bowl as the starting line. The individual OLmen chosen as Pro Bowlers will be the 2nd period or 2nd half starters or after the starting OL, mix and match at will.

If the season ended now San Diego, Denver, and Kansas City would all make the playoffs. Denver is switching QBs next week, but that might be an improvement. Do you think it is possible to have three teams from the AFC west representing this year? Does anyone know when the last time three teams from the same division has made the playoffs?

Eli Manning actually signed with the Chargers when he was drafted. I wonder how good the Chargers would be with Eli at the helm. Where would Rivers be? Would Rivers be the Giants QB?

Oh poor Eli says Plaxico Burress did not try for the ball against Tennesee, which led to the interception. He statde that plex should have at least tried to knock it down. Let me just say ELI MANNING is a big FREAKEN cry baby just like the whole Giants team. His daddy Archie Mannning wanted him to play in NY not Sdiego and now this little weasel is pointing fingers. Some leader he is he didnt even address the team at the meeting.
Hey Eli why dont you point the finger in Daddy's face and tell him you could of had LT behind you running the ball and a better all around team and I must say a way better coach. Schottenheimer is a player's coach Tom turn your head and coughlin is a yeller, screamer, belittler, and in no way respects his players. Shockey big mouth wants the ball every play and Tiki Barber wants to run the ball every down. I mean cmon this team has alot of talent but there arent enough footballs to go around and there is no team chemistry, with all this bickering they do.
