The Astrodome was a shelter for the Hurricane Katrina refugees, but I am not sure what has been going on there lately. I do know that it is not the home for the Texans or Astros. The Texans play at Reliant Stadium and the Astros have been playing at Minute Maid Park since 2000.

The Astrodome has the Houston Astros Baseball team although I hear that they might be moving.

It was the former home of the Houston Astros (Major League Baseball) and the Houston Oilers (Now the Tennessee Titans). New stadiums were built for the Texans and Astros, so no professional sports teams play there anymore.

No professional sports are played anymore in the Astrodome but they do use it for the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo along with occasional concerts, truck shows, and high school football games.
