This is a keeper league and i will need to pick 8 or 10 keepers. Who should be Kept? and is there anything i can do to improve this team now? I am currently in 6th place. And i just up graded my pitching staff with some trades. What do you think?

My boyfriend is hosting a live draft in a couple of weeks and the pot should end up being around $1000 so everyone's really excited. I made invitations (and they were awesome) but I don't know enough about fantasy football to know what I could make that would be cool. Posterboards with stuff....a fishbowl of names...do I need a markerboard.... I have no idea. Any creative ideas? Something awesome...

It seems like so many fantasy owners read all the same books and look at all the same material and have all the same ideas...granted, some good ideas are ok...but some seem crazy to me...

a few examples:

1.worrying about bye weeks... I've seen people pass on better players because they have the same bye week as another guy on their team... I figure if you have the best players available...and you actually can evaluate tallent... then worst case senario is that you drop ONE week based on having a couple of guys on "bye"... I've never seen a fantasy season lost on bye weeks?

2. all the same "hype players"... last year it was Ashley Leelie... he only had an average year before that and then everyone was talking about how he was going to have a "great year"... then it was a dud...
then you have these guys that have a bunch of "hype" players thinking they will be fantastic this year... then they suck and they are like "what happened"?

QBs- 25 passing yards = 1point
1 TD = 6 points
1 int = -2 points

RB- 10 rushing yards = 1 point
1 TD = 6 points
i think i should draft a QB first
if you agree Brady or manning
if you disagree who should i pick
also i play in a very small league 3 or 4 guys
