go with LT in the first round and then look for either Caddilac Williams, Ronnie Brown or Steven Jackson in the second.

But if you don't want to draft 2 running backs in the first 2 rounds, look for Carson Palmer or Larry Fitzgearald...If you're lucky, you may even get Peyton Manning in the second round (not very likely though.).

you'll most likely get LT based on what I've seen so far.

Coming back, since you're so close to picking again, I'd recommend one of the tier 1 WR (Owens, Harrison, Holt may still be available in a 10 team league); You could go RB at #2 if there's a run on WR in which case someone like Mcgahee might still be there.

With pick 3 you need to get a RB - it might be Deshaun Foster / Corey Dillon/ Jamal Lewis type, but you can't afford to wait another 17 picks for another RB.

It's imperative you have 2 RB by the end of round 3. There's a lot more dept at WR that you can pick up later.

You won't have a shot at Peyton -so don't worry about your QB till rounds 6-8 (there'll be plenty available).

And don't take Gates (nothing against Gates - he's the best TE hands down)- but he goes in the 3rd round every year, and effectively kills that person's draft. 3rd rd is too early for any TE, even Gates.

after reading some other responses here, keep in mind that some people are high, crazy or high and crazy.

your 2nd pick will be #18 overall - if you think Steven Jackson or Edgerrin James will be available at that spot, you are definitely crazy and high. Expect 9-10 of the first 12 picks to be RB with Manning and one of the Top WR being the only exception.

This is why I go WR in wound 2 unless something crazy happens, you should be able to at least land one of the ARZ wides or even Randy Moss who is slipping this year. Harrison and Holt are also likely to be there. Chances are Smith, Chad, and TO will be the 1st 3 to go. Holt would be my next choice.

Go for running-back first 2 rounds. I would go for Larry Johnson first round. Tomlinson is in a offense that has a rookie quarterback (Rivers). Teams will stack the line against him. Alexander would be a good pick to. Beware both L.J. and Alexander lost key gaurds though and L.J. lost his fullback, but L.J.'s upside is huge. Second round look for Steven Jackson, maybe Edge could be availible. Third round get best player availible, qb or wr. Manning, Brady, Steve Smith, Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, or T.O. Good luck

At #3 in your draft, you should already have a monster RB on your team. I would actually grab a marquee WR at that position. This will actually allow you to get two dominant players at two different positions. Furthermore, you are getting another pick right away, which will allow you to grab a second RB to bolster your team.

On one team where I drafted third, I picked LT then drafted Marvin Harrison. I followed up with Kevin Jones, Andre Johnson, and Warrick Dunn for backup (Todd Heap fell to the 6th RD). My team is solid and I think I could go undefeated in that league.

It also depends on how the draft goes for you. Another draft at third, I went with 2 RBs in the first two rounds and still grabbed a strong WR (LT, Ronnie Brown, Larry Fitzgerald).

Good luck and just take your time on your picks. Also, try to have a strategy in place and have backup selections ready in case your first choice goes before you can get him. One more thing: REMEMBER BYE WEEKS!

Tomlinson in the first, then a wide out like t.o., chad johnson, or Steve Smith. With Palmers' questionable knee he should slip to 3rd round.

Look at Rudi Johnson or Stephen Jackson. Otherwise, I like Marvin Harrison, Carson, or T.O.
