What do you think?

Alge Crumpler ...

Chris Cooley has developed into an excellent option for TE, but he has two major issues:
1) Too many other options on that team - with Santana Moss, Antwaan Randle El, Brandon Lloyd, Clinton Portis, and Ladell Betts, Cooley will not get as many looks from Brunell or Jason Campbell as he used to. There are more throwing options, plus Portis (and on occasion Betts) will also get more dump-off pass opportunities this season with Gibbs redirecting the offense.
2) Loss of versatility - Cooley was also used as a utility RB on that team, which made him more valuable to owner since he would get points from two different positions. However, his role has been reduced to staying at TE. While that helps him solidify that spot, he loses additional points from his run game.

Alge Crumpler has been a solid TE from the get-go and never had to worry about being shifted or used at other positions. Furthermore, he is pretty much the main passing weapon on that team since Vick does not work too well with his WRs. However, even when Schaub was under center for a limited time, Alge still racked up yardage and scores for the Falcons.

Cooley may end up being forgotten by defenses to a point, but when the Washington WRs get going, his QB ends up forgetting about him too.

Alge Crumpler remains in the top 5 TE, while Chris Cooley is scratching his way into the top 10.

Chris Cooley. He had one one of the most touchdown scored by tight end. He did great last year and this year, he got more receivers to take the pressure off his back. Alge Crumpler is doing so well. Vick isn't throwing so much. Cooley's better.

Chris Cooley is gonna have a better season. Al Saunders is the Offensive Coordinator for the Redskins this year (who was previously the chiefs o-coordinator), and he has already said that they are gonna come up with some "special plays" for Cooley this year to get him more involved. Inclduing some running plays and a lot of goalline looks, and more vertical passing schemes. Crumpler might be a better player, but Cooley is gonna have a better fantasy season.

GO WITH CHRIS COOLEY!!!

What stat boy forgot to tell you was that despite the less catches, Crumpler had over 100 more yards last year and only fumbled one time compared to Cooley's 3. Also, Crumpler's catches have been steadily rising, as he has become a main target for Mike Vick due to the inconsistent WR play.

Crumpler.

I still rate Crumpler higher. I know Cooley stepped it up last year, but his totals were largely the result of 2-3 big games (2 and 3 TD games).

Crumpler will get you consistent points every week.

Cooley.

In five seasons Crumpler has yet to have more than 65 catches, and no more than 6 T.D.s

Now in just two seasons Cooley career high is 71 Catches, and got 7 TD’S Last year, and 6 in his rookie season. Cooley is coming into his third season and improved last year from his rookie season… so odds are he might even improve from his second season.

Also, Vick is waaaaay too inconsistent to constantly feed the ball to anyone.

I would say Crumpler. The Falcons have absolutey no running game, which then means they will be passing most of the time. The Redskins have more of a running game, and sometimes Cooley might not be a factor.

Crumpler but he probable won't get as many looks as Cooley. Cooley will get more fantasy pt. depending on your pt system.

I'd go with Crumpler mostly beacuse he is a huge part of the offense with the Falcons and he is Vick's favorite target.

I would say Crumpler is a higher choice as a fantasy guy.

Washington now has randell el Bryant and moss as receivers, also i think they will run Portis more.

look for Troupe and watson to have as good of years though!
