When due to a worthless e-mail leakage, Ganguly was not only stripped of captaincy, but also shown the door as a player, what action should be taken against Sachin for his breach of discipline (speaking to the media)?

Why was no action taken against Sachin, when sometime back he refused to take a fitness test? Are there different rules for different players? If it is so, it is very sad.

Is it not true that on and off Sachin has given interviews that captaincy interests him? No one wants him to be captain, but he does give such statements.

Till players are told to behave (even Ganguly was arrogant at a point of time), and are selected on basis of performance (not records), India’s performance will continue to deteriorate. Sometimes records are a useless thing. Had Sachin scored an unbeaten century against Bermuda, he would still have had an average of over 50 in this World Cup!

I am not anti-Sachin, but he has been given more chances than other players after non performance

I hope you had seen the interview that sachin gave to Times of India, it is being repeatedly telecast in NDTV as 'I'm shattered' - Sachin.

Well, I have a few doubts -
Chappel had not told anything officially nor the BCCI as confirmed anything like 'chappel had quoted as saying - Senior players act like mafia etc;etc;". It is only these stupid News channels like NDTV that is campaigning these to improve their TRP's.

1.) Why is sachin reacting to some unofficial opinions like these?

2.) Is sachin ready to sacrifice his advertisement revenues and is he ready to concentrate on the game alone for India?

3.) Can anybody give me 5 examples of match winning innings out of 300+ matches that you have played in your life time?

4.) We all know his record as "Captain of India"?

I feel sachin is just shedding crocodile tears. He knows that he will be soon out of Indian cricket and hence himself and his marketing co have staged a drama.

since my team(ind) got out of the cup, and rival(pak) too, i lost the interest. dont know what is happening? whos winnign? whos loosing?

Balaji is not only a good bowler but he is a good batsmen too when compared to other bowlers of Indian team. He had hit 6s & 4s many times & also scored a lot of runs. But he is not seen these days. Will talent not be considered in India? Unless talented fellows are taken into the team rather than recommendation, India will not be a Team. It is individual. Each player is himself. Not a team is built up. Consider Australia. Y is the team world's best team? V could c a Team as a whole there. Each player is highly talented. What abt BRACKEN? He is a new entry. he was given chance & he proved himself & still proving. & moreover all the players bat well. right from no.1 to no.8 bat well. They can give a min. of 50 atleast. That's y Australia sets a huge total always which becomes difficult for all the teams of the world to chase. But v must consider the NEW ZEAS. Those fellows blew up Ausis in 3 consecutive matches. If India shouldnt disappear from cricket, talent should b given a chance.
