Your question is two part; the first part is why is Balaji not in the team? and the second part is will talent not b considered in the team selection? To answer your first part, he is not a Mumbaikar and secondly he is from Tamil Nadu and he does not have anybody to push him up. The answer to the second part is: it is not correct to say Indian cricketers do not have talent. You have rightly put it the talent will be highlighted only when the team performs like a well oiled machine. Where you must put petrol for the machine to perform it is no use putting oil there, likewise where patriotism must be thrust to perform at the highest levels of the game, it is sad that money is playing spoil sport. Under these circumstances, however talented the cricketer is, it is of no use.

It is the same Balaji, whom we said was the best swinger of the ball! Ha! Ha!!
As regards domestic matches, let me refresh your memory. Some time back, Sachin had injury problems, and to prove his fitness he was given a chance to play a 'Challenger Series'. He failed in ALL the three matches, sometimes felled by Piyush Chawla, sometimes I think by Sreesanth. When Greg was asked how he was included, he said that he was a 'genius'.
Ganguly was also given a chance,on a bouncy pitch, and a shower of short pitched deliveries. He scored a century. He was not given a chance. Rather, after some time a third-rate retired player Kiran More told him that doors were closed for him forever.
This is to show you an example of how after performing in domestic matches players are treated differently. There should be no 'apna' or 'paraya.'
Somewhere I read that once Kasturba Gandhi made a mistake of Rs 2/- in an account. Gandhiji did not allow her to keep accounts again. Now it seems our politicians have snatched Gandhiji's lathi and are trying to beat the hell out of us.
These people and players playing for thier pockets, promoting poisnous drinks are 'heroes' and the farmer who feeds us (the real hero) is commiting suicides!! Mera bharat mahan!!!!!!!!!!

BALAJI is not in the team because the cricket board thinks that old players r worth of everything and they would play better than new players. But after r shameful defeat everyone knows that old players r of no use now.So I hope BALAJI gets a chance this time....

He is a very good bowler & he will bounce back with a bang. He was most popular in Pakistan 3 years ago. His bowl swinging technique is the best in India. He is specialist in clean bowling any batsman. Wait & watch. BCCI may ignore him but not the ZEE GROUP.
