There were many turnig points in the match between Sri Lanka and West Indies. Firstly it was the century of Sanath Jayasuriya and the onslaught of Dilshan and the sloppy fielding of West Indies, which helped Sri Lanka to post a mamoth total. When Sri Lanka had posted such mamoth total, it was important for West Indies to have a good start and consolidate the same. However the early dismissal of Cris Gayle and Lara sealed their fate.
