With over one billion people loosing interest in the championship with India and Pakistan out, what should the West indies authorities do to bring back interest in the championship?

they have lost nothing,it makes me laugh to hear how bad the Indian and Pakistan sportsmanship is,get over yourselves the rest of the world doesn't care that your teams were terrible and didn't make the cut-the world cup is and will always be bigger than 2 AVERAGE cricket playing countries.
I take it when you say charm you mean the charm of burning down your own wicket keepers house or the charm of bagging the coach and players or the charm of getting on this forum and whinging about how the world cup is not the same without you?

yea totally. It is a naked truth. The money that was supposed to be drawn to west indies is much less than the expectation. As u see each match, not even 1/4 of the stadium is filled with people. It seems like the life of world cup is gone with out india and pakistan.

Since India are the biggest crowd pullers in cricket, early exit of India from the world cup has defenitely resulted drop in attendance. If West Indies get eliminated, the crowd will be further reduced. Hence West Indies should fight hard and remain in contention in order to have good attendance in the matches.

Yes certainly. Most of the people in India and Pakistan are really loved cricket more than others. Here in India and Pakistan cricketers are more popular. with the absence of both you all miss the fans of Indian team and Pakistani teams. so naturally charm is reduced.

No way there are a dozen other countries palying. talk about charm. yeah it had sm charm wen bangaladesh played against india... God ! i miss that kind of charm. More than Pakistan,India's quit will definitely affect ICC.This world cup lost about 100 crore spectators around the world.

Newzeland,sri lanka and west indies are more than capable of beating the Australians and South Africans than paks or Indians. You guys cant even beat Ireland or Bangladesh, how come you are the only teams that can beat AUS or SA? loser's

Hey during the league matches i used http://www.action8cricket.com they were awesome specially there support i mailed them 3 times and got answers within 30 mins intially there picture quality was pathetic but now what i saw in last 5 games was truely appreciatable hope they continue the good work hats off to the quality and support.
