yes it is, teams carrying points into the round from the first one and blahdy blah blah, they should just start afresh in the super 8s round, it disadvantages the teamw who lost earlier, they may as not even play coz they know they wont make finals.

i think its more complicated than it sounds. teams taking points and run rates forward only from co qualifying teams.
