I hope you had seen the interview that sachin gave to Times of India, it is being repeatedly telecast in NDTV as 'I'm shattered' - Sachin.

Well, I have a few doubts -
Chappel had not told anything officially nor the BCCI as confirmed anything like 'chappel had quoted as saying - Senior players act like mafia etc;etc;". It is only these stupid News channels like NDTV that is campaigning these to improve their TRP's.

1.) Why is sachin reacting to some unofficial opinions like these?

2.) Is sachin ready to sacrifice his advertisement revenues and is he ready to concentrate on the game alone for India?

3.) Can anybody give me 5 examples of match winning innings out of 300+ matches that you have played in your life time?

4.) We all know his record as "Captain of India"?

I feel sachin is just shedding crocodile tears. He knows that he will be soon out of Indian cricket and hence himself and his marketing co have staged a drama.

What do you feel?

Yes i agree with you.

If it happens for Saurav, then Sachin should also accept the same fate.He is no execption, cant beg for mercy.

Why didnt the same media come out when it happened same for Saurav Ganguly. Actually media was celebrating it, & admired Chappel for his bold move. Media is very much biased here.

Real culprits are the so media, BCCI, & the seniors.

U.R a Keen Observer. Oh ..Man,.
what do I feel? um..I feel bad.
Sachin reacting to some unofficial opinions like these Is totally unacceptable. It's not so called "Sportsmenship"
He is now trying to take advantage of sympathising Fans.
I tell ya one thing,.. This was supposed to be Sachin's world cup.
Honestly,Sachin was most Irresponsible.
As (IndianCricket)Players,...They live Princely lives.
That's ok as long as they perform like cricketers,,um..not like businessmen. The news flash is, Coach supposed to get the blame.....
Furthemore..Fans supposed to get blame for the- presure,..they created. ,..instead of Bangladesh & Lankan players in the field.

To tell the truth ,..Sachin has been having "other matters" on his mind when he was battig against Dilhara Fernando.
Look what we have got here...We have solid facts for that.
SL has upper hand...
It was all the way for Asian Teams.
India Pakistan Lanka.. all in the semis...
But all those hopes were shatered.
No more white people ruling the Cricket World
But see how S.L. only from Asia,.. became top of the world right now...well..Tigers .. still has long way to go..)
Though S.L. beat india They still had to give their best ever performance..When Uthappa and Ganguly walked in, India had a target of just 255 runs, on a wicket which had dried and gone flatter. It could have been easy..if..sachin........
But nobody showed the determination to stay on, except Dravid. It was Dravid's flurry of fours off Malinga in one over that had raised the hopes of Indian fans just for a while.

It is really opbvious the turning point was Sachin’s getting out to Fernando, "Through the Gate for a Duck".
Why this dissaster? For money on their heads?.
Most - "Man of the matches"- for Dollars.
Not for satisfying honest & selfless fans.
I too feel Sachin is just shedding crocodile tears. He knows that he will be soon out of Indian cricket and hence himself and his marketing co have staged a drama.

India could not recover. The panic button was pressed.
why panic buttons ?
Cuz.... Damn money !.They may say it's for the country..
No way....It was never for The countrie's glory

With super star Sachin in their camp , India’s strength was batting and given the proper conditions, their medium pacers and the spinners could be devastating. If not, their shoulders start drooping and the bowling goes haywire with all kind of experimentations. It could happen to the batting too.

Exactly opposite are Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. What an irony. They are better fielders for sure, and the bowlers bowl to the field under any circumstances unless it’s a completely off day for them.
Their just outstanding. And most importantly, they play as a team and not as individuals. And that’s the thin line that differentiated the two teams. We saw absolutely no regional biases, despite all kinds of problems in their small country.
India & pakistan are bigger countries.
But they now have to beat only 3 teams to advance easyly to much awaited semi finals.
India can get the cup2011.
Long live Asian cricket !!

Well its quite surprising becoz Sachin is not the type who overeacts to any situation even if the othe senior players do.Dont u think so?
Well none of us actually know what Chappel said-only the bunch of duffers who control cricket(i prefer calling them that way after the WC debacle) know abt it.But acc to the TOI and Times Now it seems as if he said a lot abt the seniors and clled them the mafia and blahblahblah. And u would be quite surprised to hear what one of the senior players told the Times of India"iF chappel doesnt stop,we'll use the media to reveal things and pay him back-with interst"-its quite amusing isnt'it.

So I think not only Sachin but all the players though unnamed are overeactin and they should keep their mouths shout even if Chappel doesnt shut his mouth.I'mean why wash dirty linen in public? We've had enough of cricket to distress our already confounded minds and this will only add to our distress.
Ithink it'd be wise if pple like Sachin retire gracefully ater a series or so and make way for young blood.

The players are reacting like this becoz they think they can win the public to their side.LITttle do they realize that no support will come their way until they mend their ways.
So I think it'd be wise if evryone kept quiet and say whatever they hay top to the BDCI(there is no one else man)

I m not an indian but i m a great fan of Sachin............Man!! with all what you have said, please don't forget that he has played a great part in indian cricket..........he is no doubt the best betsman in the world...holding soo many records and so much expert in his game........every player suffers a bad patch and thats what he is facing these days and secondly he is not responsible for indian failure alone.......it was the failure of all the players, coach and managment !! While he bears more responsibilites being a senior player, I think one should give him some relief for his great work done for indian cricket.........You know there is only 'One' sachin and he is with India ! He is a pride of your team and if you don't want him to play anymore.........just show him off with respect !

Anyways........won't speak more than this !

Its sad to see scathing remarks like these being made by people who are considered to be one of the most knowledgeable fans of Cricket.

A man will only know what he has experienced.

Has the BCCI ever cared to provide sporting infrastructure to the team and the audience?

Have anyone questioned why the richest cricket board in the world has an array of the most pathetic cricketing stadiums in the world?

Has anyone wondered what the BCCI has done to improve the standard of cricket in India?

Our players are made to look good on pitches where even a Dodo can go and score a century every 10 matches.

No wonder they look like "Popcorn on a hot pan" when it comes to international stadiums and quality bowlers.

I am a hardcore cricket fan, but seeing the pathetic state of Indian cricket i really feel following teams like Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and even Ireland.. because they are the ones who play the game as it should be. Hard.

I believe this is a carefully orchestrated plan to ensure Sachin gets no blame for scoring only 7 runs versus Bangladesh and SL.

I feel sad for tendulkar seeing such a great player reduced to petty politics to keep his place in the side

On current form he does not deserve a place in the team. His skills are waning and I feel he should play just one more match/series and go out in a blaze.

On the other hand Chappel has not been smelling of roses either. He has been deliberately leaking news about dissent in the team to his friendly journalists. Infact everyone, starting from the great Colonel has been behaving immaturely while dealing with the media.

Man you have hit the nail on the head. I was one of the sachin fan. But really there is no excuse for this performance. Forget about just now tell me how many matches he has won for india .........Don't forget we are talking about so called god of Indian cricket. If he was an Australian today would have been 2nd anniversary of his retirement . We all should pray that he should not drag his advertisment acting to the interviews. We are ready of tendulkar's Retirement but question is that when he will be?

No..no..I can not accept your views. One WC not at all justifying his calibre or potential.because He is a very good and technically sound person in his era.He saved lot of matches for us.Last WC , after his father's funeral immediately back to match and made a very big hundred ,put a path to final. To be frank,Chappel is the culprit..he unable to make product..We should not blame our boys..
First match..wrong decision of batting first and against SL ,,,again wrong..choosing field first..
So decision making was totally done by Chappel and Dravid .,

He is acting as cry baby. I never thought that he will act this way.

He needs to learn that we have expectations from him and he failed to deliver.

If he thinks that he not longer wants to try to meet our expectations then he can step down as member of Indian cricket them.

Note: He always played well against our main rival Pakistan. (no offense to any one ... we all know our feelings on matches between India and Pakistan)
