Thats all bullshit. How come Tiger woods, Micheal schumacher, William sisters (tennis), Beckham and many other super sport stars who get lots of media & fans attention, why it hasn't affected there performance ?! Because they keep a balance between there game & advertisements.
As usual they are transferring there weakness on media & fans. A well knit self-defensive crap to fool Indians public.
Therefore, I believe if BCCI learns little bit & take rigid action by restricting the player's advertisement contracts to 1 per year, may be they can concentrate more on cricket practice rather than reheaseling for advertisement.

I told that before in this forum, and I am telling again, its the media, they have made players worshiping idols,and the players think they are super heroes,untouchable.
Its time India bans all kinds of media sponsorship for players,
so that they can concentrate on cricket.

yes we should accept , because people are always keeping confidence about their playing , due to that they are becoming popular that is why media is making major profit through them .With the support of fans and media they are getting overconfidence in their playing that is why they lost the world cup chance
