Roy Jones still says he is the best fighter pound for pound. Read wat he said and tell me wat u guys think about it

There is a possibilty that Roy Jones Jr will face Bernard Hopkins in July of this year. Jones feels that a fight with Hopkins is huge and when he is motivated, he is still one of the best pound for pound in the world.

In regards to fighting Hopkins, Jones Jr tells Mark Vester of BoxingScene.com that he'll be motivated, basically warning when he is on his game, he is the Best Pound for Pound in the game.

Quoted by BoxingScene, Jones Jr said: "I would be real motivated for Hopkins, and when I'm motivated I'm the best best pound-for-pound fighter in the world." Jones added: "I know what people think, but I'm still the same Roy Jones."

Hopkins vs Jones Jr is not set in stone as Team Hopkins has also been reported to be in talks with Joe Calzaghe's team for a match in July of this year.

It sickens me, Tyson made so many people millionaires, and now when he is down and out, no-one can come to help him? If he was out of debt, he could have one more fight, and live comfortably off the fight purse...

My great grandfather was a boxer from Malta in the 1930's. I don't know his name but I may find out some more about him if I had a list of boxers living in Malta around the 1930's.

For the uninformed Ayala was a major talent as jr. mid years ago. Many projected him as having the talent to be a champion and possible all time great. I expect the best answers will come from the hard core fans of the sport.

Joe Calzaghe started running his mouth after he beat Sakio Bika(wow). He openly challenged Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright, Jermaine Taylor and Roy Jones. I think he'd get destroyed by all of them(except maybe Taylor). What do you guys think?

Moscow Mayor joins Maskaev Team in lobbying Sulaiman for huge unifier, all Russian title bout between Oleg and Klitschko April 21 in the Olympiske Stadium in Moscow where ticket prices are $5,000 at ringside.

Also at the moment the Russians are more worried about the olympics and winning more gold medals than Cuba in boxing.

There are a lot more Russian boxers coming in the future, I've heard there are some bigger than Nicolay Valuev.

Looks to me in the future if you want to see a championship boxing match you'll probably have to go to Russia to see it.

Up till 1980 there what one champ in each division. Not there's like 10, so fans are confused. And the number of belts and mandatory challengers makes impossible for the most dominant fighters to hold them all at one time. So bodies that are supposed to govern the sport are basically destroying it.
