How do u think this fight is going to pan out? I dont know what I think but Id love to see Oscar win it! Also I think that Mayweather is well overhyped.

I think Mayweather is good mainly because of his speed and reflexes. The punches he throws are very fast, and he is very elusive. On the other hand I have seen him often do things like leading with his right and dropping his left hand afterwards. If he wasn't so fast that would be a great way to get hit.
Delahoya clearly has better technical skills.
Mayweather might be able to win the fight by elusively moving around the ring and not throwing many punches like he did in his last fight, and that would be very disappointing. If he does try to have an entertaining performance, he puts himself at greater risk to lose. Mayweathers last fight should have been an embarrasment for someone who claims to be as good as he does himself, and I hope Delahoya can teach him a lesson.

Mayweather is not over hyped. Do you see him making commercials for this & that product? No. Do you see him at other fights? Not really. Mayweather is a very good fighter. Does he talk? Of course, but wouldn't you? Oscar is no push over though. Mayweather's speed and defense will give Oscar problems. Don't expect Mayweather to grind it out with Oscar. If he does, surely he will get KO'd by Oscar. I expect Mayweather to stick and move. I expect Oscar to stalk and throw extremely hard punches when he can. I expect Oscar to work the body whenever he can. Hard body shots will slow down a stick-and-move kind of fighter. If Mayweather wins he should retire. All in all it should be a good fight. Oscar would not have taken the fight if he didn't feel like he could win it. That's the priveldge of being CHAMP.

Have you seen Mayweather fight ? No contest De La Hoya be lives he has a chance poor guy it,s obvious someone has been blowing his over size ego up a little bit to much this time and he will pay for it after the first round De La Hoya will realize he made a big mistake fighting the best fighter in the game today I know there is a lot of money in it but is it really worth it at this stage of his career De Le Hoya has never faced anyone with Mayweather

Although I'd love to see De La Hoya shut Mayweather's loud mouth, it's just not going to happen. Mayweather is as good as he thinks he is (for his weight class), and De La Hoya hasn't been in peak condition in a couple years. I don't see this fight lasting past the 6th or 7th round. Sadly... Mayweather wins.

I'd love to see De La oya win this fight. Mayweather is a good fighter but imo highly over rated. He has only fought top draw names that are fighters past their best. If Mayweather stands there and trades blows then he will be Ko'd. If he fights a sensible fight he should get the decision.

Oscar has always had problems with speed boxers, Shane Mosley gave him fits. Mayweather should win by decision unless he is not strong enough to keep De La Hoya off him or gets caught with a lucky punch.

Your right Mayweather is quite overhyped but he is a good boxer. Oscar is on form at the moment, and I'd like to see him win, I actually think that there is a good chance he will win the fight....

Yeah Oscar won his last match against Mayorga and looked good but keep in mind Mayorga doesn't have the greatest technique so Im going to give the fight to Mayweather. Mayweather = technique. Combine that with his hand speed. Im going to give the fight to Mayweather (on the cards). He will win.
