If the fight is in the woods and the bear is a female with a new cub I pick the bear bulls don,t have much stamina once they charge head first that is all they can do why do you think bull riders only have to stay on a bulls back for 10 seconds because that is when a bull is at his most powerful a bear can run up to 45 miles per hour a bear has teeth and the most powerful jaws of any mammal and a bear has claws have you heard of a bear hold be for there is a reason once the bear digs his claws into the bull it will be a slow but sure death bear wins in one round no limit on the minutes

I just read a Ripley's Beliieve it or Not book that claimed that bulls always defeat lions. I think it said in Spain they were placed in the bull ring quite often and the Bull always won. Since Bears are not as agile as lions I'd say give the bull the edge...unless it's a grizzly or Polar bear maybe.

Bull would lose because of the bear's paws and crushing jaws. Bull only has horns and it's weight. Both animals weigh in the wild around 1,500 pounds so neither has a weight advantage. The bear would win because it has a larger arsenal of weapons.

Go Bears!

Depends on the bear, a Grizzly, Kodiak, or Polar bear would win easily. Grizzlies have enough power to break a bulls neck with one swipe. That huge hump on their back is nothing but muscle, designed for moving large objects out of the way.

Depends on the size of the bull and the size of the bear.

The black bears here in East Tennessee wouldn't stand a chance against a good Brahma Bull!

A large Grizzly would probably take care of business, but a good gourd from a horn of a bull could take him out too????

What was the point?

The bull would just keep charging the bear and knocking it over-this would be a crap fight! the bear would either run or get killed after a long cruel fight..

Who exactly are the bear and bull expected to fight? Bears and bulls spend most of their time buying and selling shares.

Hmm... The bull is more powerfull yet the bear is more flexible. I'd say the bear would win, I think he's cleverer and would figure some tatic because other wise it would probley be a stalemate

I'd have to go with the bear, assuming it is of comparable size.

The bear would eventually get the bull in a grapple and rip it's body to shreds.
