It's a cracking question.

At the moment you'd have to say pretty boy Floyd Mayweather and if he beats Oscar De La Hoya in May then his legacy will be complete. Oscar De La Hoya himself would be in the mix as would Marco Antonio Berrera.

Manny Pacquiao gets my vote.
Whilst Floyd Mayweather is awesome I have watched his last few fights and I still think hes overhyped. He beat Carlos Bauldamir yeh, but he only made his name in winning one fight against Gatti. I still think Mayweather hasnt had enough big fight. The Oscar fights will be a good one to watch. Id like to see hatton and mayweather fight. Im not making any predictions but I do think that Hattons style would give Mayweather problems. It would be a classic case of boxer vs Brawler! And I love to see Hatton do it, although it would be a monumental task for the hitman.

Anyway.. Manny Pacquiao, one of my favourite boxers too.

Joe Calzaghe a close second in my eyes too, he has not had the recognition he deserves!

manny pacquiao is the best boxer at the moment...he fights everybody and all the fights are exciting...all his losses were in the phillipines when he was still young and wasnt trained by the great Freddie Roach...now that he also has a vicious right hook to go with the undefendable straight left...he is pound for pound the best fighter out there rite now..

I'll have to say Floyd Mayweather. The competition is not the best, but boxing is in a bad state overall and you can't blame him for that.

I never thought Roy Jones Jr. had any real competition after James Toney and before Tarver. But once again, that was not his fault and you still had to acknowledge his skills.

Are you kidding Mayweather with out a doubt he is undefeated and has shown that he can beat just about anybody convincingly. If he beats de la hoya he will have to be named as one of the top 3 fighters of all time.
