I can't believe they lost to the Warriors!! They were so great against the Lakers the other night, then they come up against Golden State and lose. It looked like they were asleep out there last night, what an awful game. I'm really disappointed...I still believe in my Knicks, but at this point in the season they have to realize that they have to try and win every game. With 29 games left for them, they need to step it up more and quit having off nights. I was disappointed after the loss in Utah, but this is even worse. Come on, Knicks!!

Watch the Tarheels play. They have strobe lights mounted on the ceiling that go off randomly. I think they practice like that, and if they do and they're opponents don't it may put them at an advantage.

Hi. I'm 5'9" and I'm 17 years of age. I have always dreamed of dunking a basketball. I'm currently using Air Alert to boost my vertical leaping. I'm starting to think that my height is going to hinder my success. What should I do to be able to, at least, dunk? Will I still grow a couple of inches?

From the AP:

"You know, I hate gay people, so I let it be known. I don't like gay people and I don't like to be around gay people," he said while a guest on Sports Talk 790 The Ticket. "I'm homophobic. I don't like it. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States."

The discussion was sparked by last week's announcement that retired NBA center John Amaechi is gay.

The host asked Hardaway how he would interact with a gay teammate.

"First of all, I wouldn't want him on my team. And second of all, if he was on my team, I would, you know, really distance myself from him because, uh, I don't think that is right. I don't think he should be in the locker room while we are in the locker room."

If he did find out that a teammate was gay, Hardaway said he would ask for the player to be removed from the team.

"Something has to give," Hardaway said. "If you have 12 other ballplayers in your locker room that's upset and can't concentrate and always worried about him in the locker room.

Bonus points for a justifiable argument on how they can win the NBA Championship... ( i think beating the western conference champ 4 games out of 7 will be near impossible)
