I've looked on Nascar.com and yahoo. Niether of them list owner points. I would think all that info would be on Nascar.com and listed under standings. Since they are so important to Nascar in determining the top 35 qualifiers (not that i agree with it), and starting positions in case of rain outs. You would think it they would be easier to find.

How about two 30 car circuits! Thats 60 drivers racing every Sunday! Busch series should be Busch drivers only and the minor league for Nascar. At the end of the year you take the top 15 from each circuit and let them race for the championship! Will this work?

Like, what truck drivers deserve a Busch or Cup ride and what Busch drivers deserve a Cup ride?

Erik Darnell, Matt Crafton, and Brendan Gaughan deserve a Busch ride IMO, and Johnny Benson deserves a Cup ride.

Marcos Ambrose and Stephen Leicht deserve a Cup ride

Seriously. I dont get it? They say it's not a sport. They say drivers aren't athletic. If they weren't why are they listen in the sport or "athlete" category when u look up definitions?

They were awarding Carl his trophy and he held it up over his head, and it slipped and hit him in the head. Then he had to give his speach.

Seriously though...this has to be an awkward position for Rusty . He is up in the booth paid to call the race, and he has to watch HIS son go out in a car that HE owns and screw up every weekend.

(BTW - never liked the guy...hate him even more as a comentator..LOL)

Did F1 become a spec tire series by default, or does Bridgestone have exclusive rights to supply F1 teams?

Rousch, Hendrick and Gibbs seem to win pretty much everything and domininate the top 20 positions, with the odd driver from another few teams breaking it up a bit. From what i can see it seems to have very little to do with driver skill and all to do with equipment and who can set up their car best. Watched the truck race and Villeneuve was going backwards fast until he changed the set up of his truck at the stops. Then all of a sudden he was able to lead. Now excuse my ignorence but I very much doubt Villeneuve became a better driver in the space of one stop. It had nothing to do with driving talent. It was all to do with how his car was set up.

At least in road courses even if your car is slower you will be able to compensate through superior skills which clearly isnt the case in oval racing. If it is to do with driver skill how come a driver in a poor handling car almost never wins? Only on the NASCAR road courses have i seen a driver perform well with a bad handling car.

Just curious has anyone ever experimented with a crankshaft designed for single piece caps for an 8 cylinder engine. Also curious how many rpms that could be achieved with a single ended connecting rod as compared to the rods with caps?

"Racing... competing.. it's in my blood, it's part of me and a big part of my life..."

Would you try and fight a losing cause and try to compete with the DEI equipment?

or

When they said gentlemen start your engines then floar the gas pedal, blow the engine up, and take the day off?

Me personally I am a Jr fan but I think I would take the day off.
