I guess the guard will know better the next time ...

First off he should have known who Kasey Kahne was.

Second if the guard has high blood pressure he should change jobs.

Third if the guard had high blood pressure maybe he was provoking Kasey and was maybe a little irrational with the whole situation. People with authority tend to become that way.

Forth this whole situation reminds me of an Andy Griffith episode where the goat ate the dynamite. Maybe Kasey was the loaded goat in this episode and the guard should have handled him with extreme care.

Who cares, whatever. Kasey Kahne is a human being and being such, he's entitled to a human emotion from time to time. Regardless of what did or didn't happen, I'm his fan always and forever. I hate the media; they love nothing more than to kick a man when he's down or to try to tarnish a good guy image any chance they get. It was a misunderstanding; if Kasey did anything, he regrets it today. Leave him alone and let it go. Again, I HATE THE MEDIA.

Sounds pretty simple to me. I think most of us have been approached by a security guard with an attitude. I have wanted to do more than push a guy to the ground, but if you are 5'8" and 145 lbs, I don't think you are one to do much pushing. If the security guard is looking for a lawsuit (and it seems like he is) then that is all that is happening in this story.

I think they should put the security guard in a car and let him race Kasey. That is how they should settle it.

GO KAHNE!

I really dont know what to think. I want to wait and see what the cops say.

I suppose the cop should have known it was Kasey Kahne.

Sure Kasey's shouldn't have pushed him, and i find it hard to believe that a tiny man like him could push someone down to the ground, then give him a "heart attack".

He's had a bad couple of weeks, and he is just waiting for the season to be over. I feel bad, but ever since I met him at Texas, he's turned into this arrogant a**hole.

I've personally dealt with a security guard in the VIP motor lot, and I WAS wearing the right credentials. He came along riding his high horse and talked down to me and threatened to take away my credentials for no reason. I was about to push the guy to the ground, but I kind of felt bad for him. Those guys have to be rent-a-cops for a living, so they have to make themselves feel important somehow.

But in his defense, there is a lot of yea-hoo's who try to sneak into the VIP lot to get a glimpse of famous drivers. I'm sure Kasey is right when he said that it is a misunderstanding.

If the story is true and did happen in the state of Florida pushing someone is classified assault
Did it happen?
Did the security guard fall to the ground?
There are holes here but any thing is possable.

I don't think Kasey could push down an adult if he wanted. I call BS on this rent-a-cops story.

shouldn't that security guard be embarrassed I mean seriously he is probably 6'5 200 somethin pounds and Kasey is 5'8 145 pounds he shouldn't be able to push that security guard down he obviously must not be that good of a security guard
